Italy.

Italy has the talent and are in-form at the moment to advance through the group stages, yes anything can happen, and there is a slight chance they might not go through

Im more afraid 'after' the group stages where Italy might run out of steam

their worst ennemy is over confidence, hopefully they can get past that.

The whole over confidence thing was crushed by FIGA in 2002 that was an embarrassment, complaints about socks and gear as excuses for poor play...it was pretty sad

I'm pissed Del Piero and Pippo Inzaghi got cut...

like capo said, Korea beating us has turned the whole organization around...even in '06 when we were favorites to win, they still kept quiet, and even now

they know their ONE of the favorites, along with great teams like Germany and Spain

yeah but this time they are WC title holders, not like in 2006.

Poland all the way, hopefully they can get their act together, and play as a team, and most importantly BEAT GERMANY!!!:whip: Then we got a chance.

My friend, Kuba (Blaszczykowksi) is injured and will now miss the tournament. He was the best young playmaker we had, don't get your hopes up about Poland making out of the group now. I'm keeping my expectations low and trying to be realistic about it. I just hope we don't get embarrassed.(as usual)

Which one of the big 3 is not going to advance...

Italy, France or Netherlands?

Your choice does not really matter to me I just want some other teams playing in quarter finals and not most of the same ones, ESP, GER, ITL, FRA, etc plus Romania has the potential to do some damages in this group stage, had the ability to already tie Netherlands on their turf and win at home 1 - 0. One of the youngest teams in Euro from what I heard, I might be mistaken tho.

Poland hmmm as I`m Polish also have to say this, tie against the Germans will be a big achievement and making out of the group will be a huge achievement. Dont get me wrong my fellow Poles but I seen how they played during Engels and Janas eras and this team didnt`t really changed much since then, some new players came, Zahorski, was Blaszczykowski, but they will be not pulling first strings during those games if they even play, most likely the same core will play again as was back in 2006, Zurawski as our supposed striker except he will be more in the midfield then where he is needed. We didnt get no such playmakers as Ballack/Schwinstiger, or any other one since then so our hopes of winning those games is slim to none. Our basic strategy is counterattack that is all and by now all of our opponents now that. 2 - 1 in Chorzow against Portugal was I think the highest point of couple years that our squad had peaked at but since then it wasnt as an amazing time to watch them.

I`m hoping I`m mistaken but I dont see that somehow

My fellow Poles .... I know where your coming from, and I too am realistic, I saw them play against Costa Rica, in Hannover, if they play the way that they are capable of playing, then they can beat or tie the Germans, but if they get tense and stop believing, then they are toast. Lets hope that they don't implode .... again!!!

Jeszce Polska nie PRZEGRALA !!!
