I rather have it go to overtime where both teams still have a chance. If that still doesn't determine the game then penalties... |

Me> "who won?"
Portuguese fan > "We did, and we'll win it all"
Me > "Umm yeah OK, you guys got lucky"
Portuguese fan > "Oh yeah? I don't see team Philippines making it" (I'm not even Filipino)
Me > "It's EURO Cup you ing idiot"
They stopped for a second looked at me, then walked away and said 'whatever'

would be fairer to do extra time instead of pens, but still would be biased a bit by whatever happened prior, injuries, using all your substitutions etc |
