Amazing win by Turkey!!
Just watched the game as I was in a cabin up in Algonquin... all I can say is DAMN!!
Too bad we have no players left lol. There were some undeserved yellow cards which was bull.
Germany obviously has a great chance of winning now since all our top players are out because of yellow cards.
Anyways, Good luck to all team. Great Tourney so far!
I would love to see a RUSSIA vs TURKIYE Final... |

Wow, the whole tournament took an unexpected turn .. imo anyway. I'm surprised but happy with the top 4. At first I wanted Turkey to take out Croatia because I saw them as a threat to Germany but if Turkey playes how they did against Croatia with Germany (though they have very different strategies. .. Germany needs to take it up a notch or two..regsrdless of which players are missing from Turkey's side. I've never really paid attention to turkey before and I don't know why, it was nice to watch.
Happy that Italy is out, though they played like they always do,which was well but they need to change HOW they play because it seemed to be predictable by Spain. They are NOT a bad team. FFS shut up. As well as the sore losers...wow.. poor showing, really. I'm glad Spain was actually able to beat Italy for once. You had the World cup, be proud of your team/country. dives dives dives blablabla, who doesn't dive? lol
I'm loving the Turkey/Germany game coming up and the Spain/Russia game will be interesting. ( though I would have liked a Germany/Holland final)Seeing what I've seen I think anyone could take it but I'm hoping for a Germany/Spain finally.

However, under no circumstance, The referee was allowed to take back the card. Kolodin had real luck that Michel made one of the most stupid and dumb mistakes of his whole career in such a match.
Still, the Russian deserved to win. The card could have however dramatically changed the game, since the Russian would otherwise have had to play the extra time with 10 man .... |

I dunno how anyone can say croatia turkey italy and spain played well in there last games.

croatia diserved the loss with the way they played, but turkey for sure didn't diserve that win

michel ed up thats for sure... he made a bad decision giving the card (that was not even close to being a foul) and rectified it with an even worse one by taking it back... however its funny that in light of this card no one remember the blatant foul on zhirkov in first half of extra time that he didnt give the peanlty for |

lol.NOW ur back..i've been trying to hold it down and defend mother Turkiye..!! one thing i learned with the turks this tournament is we seem to overcome odds..but it is going to be very difficult..but you never know.. |

i'm pretty much used to it...we're never the popular kid on the playground..funny tho...all the europeans love to come visit our country and spend their hard earned money on our shores...THEY seem to love us...why is it that north americans just don't get it..lol...i guess it's cuz they can't afford the trip over there...i think ignorance has a lot to do with why people don't cheer for turkey...oh well...:) |
