Yup Holland choked. I want to say I'm shocked but I'm really not. That's so bloody typical.
Good job Russia, they certainly played very well, even though I do believe they had the unfair advantage of playing the full squad when Kolodin should've been out. Oh well, he won't be playing next game, as well as that other guy so there's some good news.
Can't wait to see how they do against Spain (if Spain goes through), that would be a sick game. |

nevertheless, an amazing performance by Russia, should have not even been that close, they were running circles around them...they counterattacking football was not going anywhere, cause the russians just packed up the D and shot back with their counter attack (like I said, they are the best physcially team in the tournament and showed it)

so far, all the 2nd seeds (germany, turkey and russia) have beaten the 1st seeds (portugal, croatia, holland)
i pray this statistic will remain true for italy's sake......but i really can't see how we can beat spain
