according to the rules loconet posted the other day it would leave things as a 3 way tie for 2nd so doesn't go to penalties but who sucked least against holland and then previous tournament history |

lol.. and what if Romania beats Holland? realizing the latter being the best team in the tourney so far (better than Portugal imho) .. but hey you just never know

but it wont go to coin toss most likely there is fair play coefficient and uefa coefficient before that
Should two or more teams from the same group finish with an equal number of points, they will be ranked based on the following criteria:
Number of points earned in matches between the teams in question;
Goal difference in matches between the teams in question;
Goals scored in matches between the teams in question;
Goal difference in all group matches;
Goals scored in all group matches;
In cases where exactly two teams are equal in all previously listed critera and play one another to a draw in their final group match, kicks from the penalty mark will be conducted in lieu of the remaining criteria;[12]
Coefficient from the qualifying competitions for the 2006 FIFA World Cup and 2006/08 UEFA European Football Championship (points obtained divided by the number of matches played);
Fair play conduct of the teams in the group stage;
Drawing of lots. |

Romania tied Netherlands in Rotterdam(NED) and beat them in Constanta(RO) during qualifying... It's possible for them to beat them again because the Dutch don't have much to play for at this point, and they should rest some of their players. At the same time, Romania will be missing 2 key players, both very good at defending, so it will be easier for the Dutch to score.
I'm not going to make any predictions for the final 2 games of the group of death, but Romania has a very good chance to qualify along with Netherlands |

That's what I'm hoping for!
You know the Dutch are going to rest some of their players to ensure that they're healthy and that they don't have an yellow cards against them.
I'm hoping the Dutch don't play their a-game so the Romanians can have a chance to upset the Italians and French..
How awesome would that be??

yeah i don't think a lot of people would have predicted both Italy AND France not advancing out of the group stages before this tourney started
