Wow what an awesome game! I'm so happy Turkey are through! We were watching the game at a fam lunch thingy and I remember scaring the children because we were screaming so loud with each of Turkey's goals!!!! Couldn't believe the 2nd one happened, and then the 3rd was a strike of epic proportions...what a missile!!! God was with Turkey as the third goal hit the bottom of the cross bar :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: :crazy:
And then a red card to the goalie with no subs left so a defender had to wear the goalie's jersey!!! :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf:
That's the most unreal thing ever, and so dramatic that I expected Czech to score an equalizer or something!!!! UNINGBELIEVABLE!!!! Even the ref's flag was breaking apart!!! LMAO wtf was that?!?!
But honestly, the Turkish keeper should be executed for the stupidity he displayed after they were in the lead. So ing selfish, he's not a team player in heart; he shouldn't have let that happen. Just like Zidane, I'll never forgive him for that head butt I don't care what Materazzi said. |

Agreed. What a dumbass move that was. Could have cost Turkey the game!
What a ing amazing game though! Turkey is the king of the comeback. So happy they one this one. Seeing the look of euphoria on the faces of the Turish players gave me tingles when they scored that last goal and won the game.
Im definitely cheering for Turkey now, along with Spain and France. |

They are not playing for the tie, they are playing the counterattack. They dont have enough skill to control the game against world class teams like holland italy or france. so they play the counterattack and try to take what they can get. And theyre quite good at doing it.

Holland played a counter attack style of football vs italy and france, thats counter attack....romania just sat back and did nothing....
know nothing about soccer lol :p
they had 9 men behind their 3/4 of their field, and when they had the ball they didn't even speed up their pace...they scored 1 goal off a mistake, not a counter-attack
like you said, they don't have the quality to control the game, and they played for ties in both games and hoping to beat holland with a B-squad that they will put on |

i picked romania to come out of the groups before this tourney started, but qualifying is different then now....
italy should have capitalized at least on 5-6 missed chances...italy was attacking the whole game and didn't finish....and the one goal that was offside....
toni can't buy a goal at this point, but at least italy doesn't play for a tie and they played way better then romania that game
there is no need to call me stupid, come up with evidence supporting what you want to say instead of RIIIIGHHHHHHTTTTT YOU'RE STUPID... if you don't have something useful to say, fill me in on all the hockey news of the day |

like everyone said, romania have played according to what they are capable of.....playing for the tie both against france and italy, and hoping to win against a already qualified holland
just don't give me this bull of they were playing counter-attack and they were trying to win and came up short...
regardless, like many ppl said, they did well, and give them credit....i was just hoping more from romania (like i said i chose them to be one of the teams to come out of the groups) but i was basing it from what they did through out this year, they played quality football (i know vs weaker teams) but still good football, i just don't like when teams play for ties (like they did vs france and italy)
then again.....both italy and france should have finished chances....and we wouldnt even be having this discussion |

i hope so.....but it's in holland's interest to lose, so they can knock out both italy and france at the same time.....having two less teams to worry about (even tho they killed both teams)
i just think that romania will be more motivated....let's see if they can score, thats going to be the question |
