lol in the case of italy, it went away after 5 min cause we didn't even deserve to win
in your case, turkey's well deserved run, and they dominated the game and should have won, i would say a while |

Same (Greece). We played like crap.
It goes away in 5 min. Also helps that we won in 04 and I'm thinking the same w the Italians about their win in 06. |

| the thing is ..out of all of the games.this was the one they should have won..i think they outplayed and outchanced the germans....this was a winnable game ..and not anything like the blow out everyone was saying it was going to be....on top of it..it's my bday....worst one ever..lol |

It got time the Turkeys would loose a game in a way they won their games this tournament. What's a better opponent to do that against then the Germans.
Anyway, i have to say the Turkeys played good. Perhaps better then the German.

Great teams always manage to find a way winning, it doesn't matter if they played good or not.
Turkey proved it by coming from behind and scoring late in most of its matches.
Germany beat them at their own game by not abandonning after the '86 turkish equalizer, Germany could've sat there and wait for the overtime, but they didn't.
Sure the Germans looked apathic and frankly boring ( i found the game generaly boring ), but they scored like 1 times in 2 when they really pushed forward, it looked too easy for them, all 3 goals, but they looked like they didn't want to win... weird.
Germany still manages to reach the finals, 3rd place in 2006, finals in 2002... they must be doing something right, right?
Great run Turkey, but it wasn't enough. |
