Also, I too support a two-tier system. In fact, I talked about this a bit more in depth with Theresa and Craig when I was in Canada. That how a single tier just is failure in a large population, but that the government could easily establish a baseline level of care, and they provide certain other things, but we have to get an insurance that would be administered like the US system is now through employers, to provide anything above that standard of care. |
if i want something quicker i am willing to pay for it.
natural selection imo, those who aren't poor go first...but those who are poor can get cancer get treated and not owe 50 grand.
also about wait times.
i needed an x ray and stiches in miami and it cost me 4 grand. wait time maybe an hour.
last time i needed an xray in canada i waited 2 hours and it was free.
i'll take canada:p
also mentioning theresa = no credibility whatsoever to anything you say anymore. It is like paraphrasing googooly. |

It isn't nationalized but the way the government makes the insurance companies "compete" actually helps continue with the current health insurance situation. |
