Yeah I heard about that. :whip: Hypocrites. If they're so dead set on removing Ghadafi and his regime, they had what 20+ years to do so.

I saw that coming :haha: You can't trust anyone in the middle east, they will stab you in the back. I bet their crossed their fingers when they promised they would back the no-fly zone.

The Saudi's are probably asking their buddy Osama Bin Laden make another video right now and asking the Muslim world to start flying into buildings in Europe and North America, plus bombing buses and trains again.

:stongue:

No . What exactly did they expect, to wait until Gaddafi was already in Benghazi to ask the UN to act?

You mean the one that they rescinded citizenship from and banished from the country? Oh, right. Good point.

Oh lord. Arab league flip flopping again! Here's the Arab League chief now basically saying, "On second thought, I'm cool with UN action after all."

quote:
Arab League chief Amr Moussa said on Monday that he respected a UN resolution that authorized military action on Libya, after earlier comments suggested he was concerned by actions taken by Western powers.

"The Arab League position on Libya was decisive and from the first moment we froze membership of Libya ... Then we asked the United Nations to implement a no-fly zone," he told a news conference with UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon.

"We respect the UN resolution and there is no conflict with it, especially as it indicated there would be no invasion but that it would protect civilians from what they are subject to in Benghazi," he said.

I think when I get home tonight, I'm gonna watch Monty Python and the Holy Grail. When the scene of the monks walking through the countryside, hitting themselves in the head with "the book", I may have to join them. Forget the facepalm.
