I'm not the one splitting hairs here  It's a feeble little point here's trying to make because he had to abandon his Iraq war reasoning when I ed him and he scurried off.
Read my quote, you know what I'm saying, and so does he. It's just childish now. |

Here you go again, trying to change the argument (and failing). This has nothing to do with our Iraq discussion, which became its own tangent while talking Libya. It has everything to do with your ill informed Libya talk, which you so pompously reported as if you were on the front lines over there and knew who was doing what. It's about you absolutely refusing to admit you were wrong about the US having "zero assets" in Libya. You know you're wrong but won't answer the simple "yes or no" questions I gave you. I can just pull a string on your back and out of your mouth blurts "NATO is in charge! NATO is in charge!" No matter how many times you repeat that, it won't change the fact that you were wrong about the US having zero assets. Just ing admit you were wrong.
If anyone got ed, it was you by PKC... you're probably still trying to stuff your lower intestines back up inside your ragged ass hole. |

Again, it's a truly feeble point your trying to make, and you keep dodging the the real issue; THE USA IS NOT CONDUCTING MILITARY OPERATIONS IN LIBYA, NATO IS.
Why is that important? because it's not a US war, not an Allied war it's a NATO intervention, with NATO controlled forces, for humanitarian reasons.....unlike Iraq, which was the ENTIRE reason it is pertinent to this discussion and WHY it came up in the first place . That covers everything like the money being spent on it ($4m per day at last estimate for libya, a fraction of Iraq's daily spend) the personnel (no US central command and everything that goes with it etc).
If you can't understand this point then just don't bother responding. Even though PKC and I have very different opinions, I can argue with him all day. You have yet to prove that you have a brain and are not a just Faux news human tivo. |

Blaaaahhhh blah blah ing blah. That's right: NATO is conducting military operations.... WITH 35% USA ASSETS. So I guess if you let your friend borrow your car for the weekend, it's really no longer your property (asset) until he returns it to you. I guess if you own an apartment, and rent it out to someone for a year, it becomes their asset and belongs to the renter for that year.
Maybe if I rephrase, it will sink into your thick skull. Yes or no: is NATO utilizing U.S. assets for their missions in Libya? The answer is obviously "yes". Therefore, U.S. assets are involved in Libya despite you saying this:

Admit you were wrong and stop embarrassing yourself with all these slippery ways of trying to change what you said. |

At last, an admission, and finally something that makes sense has coming out of your guff hole. This is all I needed from you.
And no, If I'm not driving the car, then I am not responsible for what my friend does with it while in his possession. When he returns it to me and I'm then driving it, I'm in control of it again. WHICH BIT OF THIS CAN YOU NOT GET? You can split hairs all you want, you can try to make some petty point about who owns the planes but it's not going to change the main thing you're so angry about : your buddyboy Bush wasn't able to get in out of 2 wars in two terms, and Obama got in and out in two weeks.
And, that's why this whole thing came up - don't make me post it all up again :gsmile:
So as I said, if you can't grasp simple concepts don't bother responding. |

Uhhh, yeah but I never argued that NATO was calling the shots! It's about ASSETS. You say there are no USA assets, and won't admit that is not correct. Look, are you going to answer the "yes or no" question? Are there US assets in Libya right now... not who's directing the missions, not who's making the decisions... ASSETS. Tell me right now, "No there are no US assets in Libya."

When he returns it to me and I'm then driving it, I'm in control of it again. WHICH BIT OF THIS CAN YOU NOT GET? | This is unbelievable. Look- I am not arguing who is responsible for what happens to the ing car. IS THE CAR YOUR ASSET; YOUR PROPERTY even when a friend is borrowing it and controlling its use? What about this do YOU not get? There is a serious lapse in your ability to understand the fundamental question I am asking.

Who owns the planes, i.e. ASSETS is central to my whole ing argument! You're the one who said there were zero US assets in Libya... all of a sudden that doesn't matter right? What a coincidence. And for the record, Bush was never my buddy-boy. You can create all the straw men you like. |
