NATO has forces there, all under NATO control, NOT US control or command, dip. The USAF is not flying missions there for the USA, nor do they have any central command over NATO assets. As I said several pages ago, and as repeated on this page, the USA is a member of NATO and has obligations to perform as part of a NATO controlled military force.

It's not even a discussion point that US planes or pilots are being used, as they are under full NATO control. If you're too thick to understand this, please just keep jacking off to your easy-wipe pictures of Ronald Reagan and leave this thread alone.

Look at you trying to change the argument. You aren't fooling anybody. This isn't about who's calling the shots. And nobody is arguing who has control of the missions.... it is about this:

Now, I'll ask you one more time... YES or NO... per your quote, does the USA have zero assets active in Libya? Here's a hint below, again repeated.

quote:
While officials may claim American is taking a back seat in the campaign, U.S. jets have attacked Libyan targets three times in the last 10 days. Add in aerial refueling, reconnaissance and electronic jamming missions and the U.S. is flying 35 percent of all the NATO missions.

Yes or no: Are U.S. jets U.S. assets?
Yes or no: Are U.S. refueling planes U.S. assets?
Yes or no: Are U.S. pilots U.S. assets?
Yes or no: Are U.S. munitions being dropped U.S. assets?

Yes, but, ya see, Kevin - when the United States acts in accordance to global interests, it's really in direct benefit of the taxpayers. It really is. Shut up, it's true. Why are you laughing?

Because laughter is your one and only recourse when your purloined earnings are forwarded straight to the perceived well-being of brown infants. :p

If you're going to quote me, at least get it right - don't edit a sentence to fit your BS.

Ummm, as part of NATO which they can't renage on, being a primary member of it and all.

Again: the USA as of right now has zero assets active in Libya, NATO does, but there is no USA military action in Libya.

And anyway, that article is talking about reductions......

Which brings me nicely to that topic you keep avoiding:

As of 2006, Organizers calculated Iraq war's cost at $134.5 billion and are adding $177 million per day, which comes to $7.4 million per hour or $122,820 per minute.

$4m a day sounds like a ing bargain :tongue3

Thanks kevin, you just confirmed you really are too thick to understand the difference between NATO forces and US led military operations :haha:

You said the US has no active assets participating in Libya. Clearly, there are. Who gives a whether they're under NATO command or not? Just accept you made a misstatement, and move on, ffs.
