So why don't they fix it themselves, oh wait, they're actually really useless at anything more than finger pointing and making money.

ERRONEOUS!

They also make killer belts. They're to die for.

I assume your counting Israel in that blanket statement.

Last time I checked... Israel in the middle east right?

Gary: Shotguns? What, like guns that fire shot?
Barry the Baptist: Oh, you must be the brains of the operation. Yes, guns that fire shot.

US Jet Goes Down in Libya Operation

A US F-15 fighter jet has crashed in Libya, reportedly due to a technical fault, during a raid against anti-aircraft defences in the northeast of the country.

just to sent things straight; that aircraft was not shot down, and it was not pilot error. there was a malfunction in the equipment.
Moongoose
At least the pilots are safe.

Also, would have expected F-15s to stop dropping of the sky now, they are quite old. Even if this was the Strike Eagle.
Joss Weatherby
They (Strike Eagles) got pretty heavy work outs during the start of the Afghanistan conflict, as well as in Iraq through the early part of the war. Course they also flew during Northern and Southern Watch as well as during the conflicts in the 90s in Europe and Desert Storm.

They actually have had a lot of abuse since their inception!

Most of the aerial support though in Iraq moved to Navy planes after the initial assault, and in Afghanistan its mostly been B-1B and B-52 out of Diego Garcia flying bomb-truck missions.

There really isn't a better airframe in any of the allied countries air forces for deep, fast and heavy interdiction and strike missions though. I figure they are being employed in the Wild Weasel role right now as well, which is about as demanding a role you can give a jet like the F-15E.

I always chuckle when I see those pictures. Seems like a touristy thing to do. I mean not that I wouldn't get my picture taken standing on top of F-15. I might even throw up west coast finger sign for added effect while I strike a pose.

That SMG the guy in the blue beanie in the background looks cool. Almost like a Thompson...(you can tell we don't have guns in the UK can't you!)
