I mean, sure... why wouldn't you vote a 2nd time for a guy who has increased government spending 84% (including 'stimulus' money), added 200,000 more government workers, and done this to our economy in a short 2 years?

Leadership baby! I don't get it... why would you vote for more of that when it's obviously financially destructive and other candidates will be trying to go in the other direction? How are you better today than you were 2 years ago? What has he accomplished that is worth voting for again??? |
Damn that is pretty damning. Those graphs are so scary!
Clearly our budget is completely out of whack. It's like we're spending tons more than is coming in. If only more was coming in. Through, say, taxes. Like, you know, those taxes we were going to have until the Republicans forced him to extend the tax cuts on the wealthy.
And yes, I do think we need to spend less, as well. We won't get out of this problem by just doing one or the other. I just disagree with most of the cuts that are being proposed. |

You are such a moron it is astounding. Stop making up "facts." The US is not training or arming any Libyan rebels, and is unlikely to ever do so in the future. Get your "facts" straight you ing puppet. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/04/01/w...01military.html
Arguing with you is like arguing with a retarded cow. |

You mean by giving tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans and raising taxes for the "average" worker? Or perhaps by cutting government funding for education, so that Americans can get progressively less intelligent, right up until the point that they're so incredibly stupid that they don't even know any better than to blindly accept these moronic policies as "good."
Just because Republicans have a plan to get the economy back on track doesn't make it a good plan. Maybe they should add a 6th work day to the week too, yeah that'll help. |
lol... what?? We spend SICKENING amounts of money on education now. Our failing education system is and has been wholly run by Democrats and their Union allies for decades. The more money we spend on "education", the worse it gets (probably because most of that money goes to ing union pension and benefit plans). If you're looking for a Republican boogeyman in the education debate, you're out of luck.
And please stop with the "tax breaks for the wealthiest americans" bumper sticker talking point. Obama has been the ing worst crony capitalism "I'll hook my friends up with special deals for supporting my 2008 campaign" I've ever seen. |

As for supporting the anti-Americans, I suspect maybe you theorized I would say something along those lines because the likelihood of it actually happening was pretty high? Don't shoot the messenger face- I'm simply showing an update of new information that is coming to light. FACT: anti-American Islamists, including one who was locked up at Guantanamo for killing/trying to kill Americans is helping leading the Rebels. We are training/arming them. How does relaying that make me a hack? Because you don't like to hear the hard truth!? |

There wasn't a war between the U.S. and the former Yugoslavia either, but at least Clinton had the nutsack to say, " the UN, they're taking forever while civil war is breaking out... we're going in to save these people." And he did. A fine leadership moment from him.
This is not "solely" Obama's mistake... but look at it this way man. The rebel leader was pleading for the U.S. to help weeks ago... then Obama declared "Kaddafi must go" and "has lost the legitimacy to preside over his country" due to mowing down his own people. He gave those people hope, then promptly went to play 18 holes of golf, give a lecture about bullying in school, hit up fund raising events, and fill out an NCAA bracket on ESPN while thousands have now been killed. It is no secret, even within his own party, that his serial lack of decision making abilities are pissing off a lot of people.
Giving speeches about how important some things are is not the same as doing anything about it. How can he make a pronouncement about how important it is that Kaddafi must go, and then do nothing about it; how can something be urgent but not worth taking action on? Don't want to get involved at all? Then fine... SAY SO. Commit to something. The idea that strong international peer pressure and UN resolutions are the way to stop tyrants only shows how weak we look. |
Even if you preface it with "he needed to commit to something" either way you'd find fault with what he does, so your opinion is rather useless.
You hate democrats, plain and simple, thats fine, I hate republicans, but god damn you guys take the cake on ing just twisting around EVERYTHING to suit your end goal, even ing over your own principals. That is why you are such a useless lot, you don't even know what you ing want because you are too busy responding to what democrats do. |

The article says "The Obama administration says it isn't likely they'll arm rebels"... that doesn't mean they won't!
Who... who's the ing puppet? This is 3 days AFTER your busted ass article:
| quote: | US and Egyptian special forces have reportedly been offering covert armed training to rebel fighters in the battle for Libya, Al Jazeera has been told.
An unnamed rebel source related how he had undergone training in military techniques at a “secret facility” in eastern Libya.
He told our correspondent Laurence Lee reporting from the rebel-stronghold of Benghazi that he was sent to fire Katyusha rockets but was given a simple, unguided version of the rocket instead.
“He told us that on Thursday night a new shipment of Katyusha rockets had been sent into eastern Libya from Egypt. He didn’t say they were sourced from Egypt, but that was their route through.
“He said these were state-of-the-art, heat-seeking rockets and that they needed to be trained on how to use them, which was one of the things the American and Egyptian special forces were there to do.” |

Oh that's what someone from al-Jazeera heard? That doesn't sound suspect at all. Someone from al-Jazeera told me that George Bush himself was on the ground in Libya too secretly leading the rebels from a super-secret bunker in Western Libya.
I suppose "an unnamed rebel source" is more reliable than 2 cabinet members. |

This coming from the guy who tried to argue last week that bringing back electric trains from 100 years ago as an alternative to people driving their own cars would be well received across the Pacific Northwest. :stongue: |

2 cabinet members who used vague terms like "probably won't" and "isn't likely"?
