i've never liked gin. ever.
i think its cause when i was in college i bought like a 1.75 bottle of paramount cheap ass extra dry . and did a shot of it. i thought i was gonna die. it took us almost a year to get rid of that damn bottle. no matter what we mixed it with, i still had that horrible taste with it. ugh. |

You're not supposed to shoot gin, you noob :p
I used to drink a bit of gin, but I've found that out of all the spirits, gin gives me the most filthy hangover from the least amount of alcohol consumption.
Vodka for the win, imo.
But today, seeing it was on special, I'm drinking Heineken.

mmmmm, bbeeer. i've got 1 blue moon left, 1 hoe, 2 guinness, and 2 budlight (leftover from friend - definitely not something i would buy, lol).
think i'll start w/ the guinness.... |

Tubular, get some bombay sapphire. I too, hated all gin, the smell of it would make me gag, but bombay sapphire at the end of a long night of partying is one of the best chilling out liqors I've ever had. Shoot, on the rocks (my fav) or mixed with tonic...good .
I took my flask of whiskey to work and drank the whole thing on the bus ride home...a bit of weekend pre-partying :p
I'm quite buzzed...off to my friends throwing their first party tonight, with Konrad Black :D |

currently working on some moinette brune. fairly cheap, but excellent for the price

Dude but I got it to go with the dinner. wine pairing man, I pair my coffee and beer with food :D
this one's good with dark meat, and strong savory flavors, which was perfect. For dinner, chopped some kielbasa into like 1/2" slices, threw em in a skillet with a half an onion, chopped, some thyme, oregano, and a good amount of steak seasoning, little lemon juice if i remember too. Fry that around for a while (stuff I get at the supermarket is already cooked so you juust gotta heat it really but if you don't cook it the flavor from the onion won't transfer over. Served that over a plate of buttered and salted macaroni, and holy was it good. I'ma start on the next beer in 5 or so, I'll post details when I do.
Seriously though, if you pair your beverage with your food, it makes both things taste 100x better |
