2 parts Duffy's lime juice (can be tough to find, but there's no substitute)
1 part triple sec
1 part clear apple juice
gonna try this, but supp the recipe for the best marg around here...

Had a $45 glass of cognac last weekend.
Have to say i reckon its the tastiest beverage I've ever had. It was awesome. Just incredible.
Had a quick look to see how much it would be to get a bottle, at least $500 and that was probably US dollars.:(
Have to settle with my bottle of VSOP, its just not even close to being close though (still being a tasty drop in itself). |

Man at the mexican restaurant i worked at before, there was a margarita called "La macha"
It was a spicy margarita made with apple juice. What made it spicy was that we put on the grill 2 cerrano peppers and when the skin would blister, we would put them in the obttle of tequila for 2 weeks.
then we would make kinda like the margarita you are saying, but slightly different. It was my fav. |

been sober for two months today. 60 days.
there's only been one other time that i have gone this long without alcohol. that was last year.
After partying and sinning for a straight week in new orleans during mardi gras, i gave up alcohol for Lent. 40 days of no alcohol. but at the end of the 40 days i had full blown MONO. so that was another 20 days of hell. it was exactly 60 days i had gone without any alcohol. not even one beer.
so here i am again, 60 days.
i find myself not really wanting to go out and buy alcohol...however, if i was invited to a party or go out to a bar, i'd have one or two. hell, after two months of sobriety, my body would only let me have a few anyways. |
