Cold beer and sauna is a perfect combination for drinking. My aussie mates probably don't know, they have a sauna daily out in the sun :D
Get a bucket or something - fill with water and some ice, put the beer bottles in it. Go have a steam bath and sip some cold beer while you are at it. Sometimes feels better than an orgasm :D |

I don't drink much these days, and when I do, it's usually something quality that I can sip and savour. The missus doesn't imbibe at all, so it was my pleasure to invest in a bottle of Bruichladdich Port Charlotte An Turas Mor, using the $25 LCBO (Ontario Liquor Control monopoly) gift card she received for her birthday. She bought me a bottle of Dalwhinnie 15 for the holidays, which warmed my cockles on many a cold winter's night, but I wanted a more earthy and challenging bottle this time around. Verdict, winner - one of the better peated Scotches I've had in this price range.

Mmmm, I love a peaty scotch, but there's not a chance I can find something like that around here. ;[
Least I don't think... |

Cask strength is way better.
Not even close.
Try a Lagavulin 16 if your tongue is strong enough. It has the peaty and smokiness while actually having a flavor to back it up. You can smell the Islay salt so well. Delicious. |

So you've tried the An Turas Mor, then? |

That sounds splendid, but it's also twice as expensive, by the looks of it. He did specify the An Turas Mor was great for its price range. |

Yeah, it's okay. If you've had other bottles from them, it comes off as a bit mellow, but still decent. I'd imagine it doesn't have quite the kick since it's a multi-vintage blend. The nose of it is quite nice though. I love that kind of sea foam scent. |

| Let it be known I was doing whiskey shots last night. Nothing fancy, just Gibson's...but uh yeah, any post made after 8pm was definitely a drunk post. :o |
