i've been drinking lots of Svedka vodka lately. mostly because it's the cheapest "good" vodka available at my local store... and well, because their ads are awesome.
The Swede’s choice of a robot came after they scoured the country American-Idol style for a native inhabitant that could pitch the product to the U.S. Market. Realizing that the most charismatic people in the entire country were either ABBA members or those chicks from Ace of Base, the Swedes did what any rational nation would do: came up with a fake robot to sell their vodka.
According to the company’s website their strategy worked: Svedka is the fastest growing Vodka in the United States. “We feel that we’ve tapped into an urge shared by many U.S. residents” a spokesperson for the company said.
“To better deny the fact that they are sexually attracted to a robot, Americans must drink more vodka.”

This is true, I've been barely able to walk but managed to post here with no one the wiser it would seem. I just drop down from about 50-60wpm touch typing to about 10wpm and 2 fingers squinting at the monitor with a 'wut arrrr yeeew lookin at?' face. |

i go through phases and im on a beer kick now...
its easier to justify drinking a 6'er on a weekday night which sometimes ends up becoming a 12'er than to do mixed drinks or shots on a weekday night... who am i kidding.. mixed drinks... ha.. |

| went "on vacation" this last weekend to ride on rollercoasters and drink. i vomitted all over the place sunday night/monday morning.. carried my pillow into the bathroom and proceeded to sleep on the floor. sooo not an alcoholic. svedka + captain + MGD = loss of dinner. :( |

| I've never seen a svedka ad anywhere, but for $23/handle, there certainly isn't anything better. |
