Looks awesome. Sadly, I've never tried any of those beers :(
May I ask, how much would those 7 beers in that picture cost you? Just for the sake of comparison, as alcohol is quite expensive here. |

| well it varied prices, i think the domistics were like a dollar and some change and the imported were probly a little less then 2 dollars |

Damn, that's pretty good.
Even our ty domestic beers are $12 for a six pack, and the good ones are $15ish. Imported/specialty beers are closer to $20 for a sixer :/
Edit: Actually, it's probably a good thing I don't live in the US :p |

US domestic beer isn't something you'd pay money for in the majority of cases, it's like VB, but without the fun of actually being drunk.
Currently I've got a bottle of unopened Drambui, that I have to give away. 
I deserve it more than them :(
But if I drink it, I'll get killed... :eek: |

Because it's one of honey rabbit's work friends birthday (I don't really care) or something and when asked what to get them 'want booze!'
I should have bought them a 5L cask wine, damn sight cheaper and it's not like the little peasants would appreciate it, though I did get the Drambui on special. |

its drambuie and a serious commitment, but good nonetheless, much cheaper EU than in the US.
those beers in the above pics were okay, but certainly not worth the price. Harvest Moon is made by Coors, so its 'specialty' beer. the others are very meh...

Where in god's name are you getting your beers from? Bose beers and liqour?? $12 for a ty domestic beer??? First off, what's a ty domestic beer because the American piss I think you're referring to, and that I know of, charges about 5-8 max for a six pack. To get to $12 you have to go to some variety of anchor steam or some seasonal victory/dogfish type of beer. Are you saying those are ty domestic beers? I'm a huge afficiando of belgian beers, probably the most expensive beers, and I know for a fact that kwaak, meredsous 8, meredsous 10, the rocheforts, orval, and most other trappist beers are well below $20 buying them in the traditional 4 packs (which end up being 6 packs given their alcohol content). The US has a very excellent selection of breweries that more than rivals Europe. I'm well versed in good breweries of the DC/PA (Philly) area so hit me up if you want suggestions. |
