I can get a 4 pack of Weihenstephaner for $15, that's about as good as I've seen it. The delicious strong stuff like Schneider-Weisse Aventinus is like $7 to $8 a bottle here :wtf:
I still bought two today.
Edit: You could even say that I just bought a pair of these today :o |
Weihenstephaner might be my favourite beer of all time, but I've had real trouble finding it here. The supermarkets mostly sell pilsner, which I ing hate these days. Still, real Budweiser is widely available, as well as Staropramen, Zywiec, Tyskie and a few other decent drops. But yeah, my home beer is Paulaner. |

| Real Budweiser as opposed to a white-label bootleg Budweiser? o.o |

I prefer the Schneider-Weisse versions of everything Weihenstephaner makes, but that's my personal taste obviously.
I truly hope you've tried Aventinus. If not, go and find some right now. Delicious party in a bottle. |

It takes a bit of getting used to, admittedly. Once you are though, good whiskey goes down quite smoothly, with just a hint of bite. And the hint of bite is a good thing, IMO. |

Maybe its just that I'm drinking cheap ? It's just regular Crown Royal.
I don't know. I used to be able to drink anything with no problem straight, but after taking two years off from drinking I find myself having problems with most things now, always needing some water or something to drink afterwords :(
Guess I'll just need to keep practicing :p |

Maybe you just don't like whisky. I don't, therefore I can't drink it. |
