Hey Rachel...I hear you, but really...this is not a chicken and egg situation. Most comments in this thread are made in the hope that the club will pay attention to it's most fervent supporters...and make some changes!
People should not be expected to support the club because the alternative is that we will loose it...if everyone suddenly starts turning up, no changes will be made.
This is not a new conversation...or a new thread...TAs have been offering suggestions from before the club even opened, and it seems no one is listening. Every other month, there is a thread like this....and still nothing.
Customers vote at the cash register...plain and simple...if the product is not what the consumer wants...they are NOT going to buy it!
The number one problem, IMO....the club has a reputation as a "gay" venue....this needs to be sorted out fast, and I think optics are an important part of that. As much as I like to see a hot boy in a state of undress...SHIRTS ON would give the impression that things are changing...it's a simple fix! |

I agree. Also, putting some hot women on the saturday night flyers will help in getting the message across that it's not just for gays. Afterall, why would you advertise to the gay community with hot women? It may sound lame, but doing for a while may change the perception the general public has of the club. |

Sonic's size eclipses what 100-odd TAs can do to help the venue succeed. Besides, TAs go to Sonic a lot despite no alcohol and whatever else shortcomings it has, it's the rest of the clubbers that Sonic has to appeal to. You might as well have suggested that TAs pay double the cover to prevent their House mecca from dissapearing, lol.
Sidenote (Lol, Firefox 2.0 spell-check.):
You know how Firefox 2.0 has this spell-check thingy that checks your input in text areas? Try entering ‘dissapearing’. It’ll suggest words like ‘overbearingness’, ‘clearinghouses’, ‘searingly’, and ‘childrearing’ instead of the quite obvious ‘disappearing’. Seriously, what idiot codes that stuff? How do you get ‘clearinghouses’ from ‘dissapearing’? |

Got any better suggestions? The club has a serious image problem, so if you have any better ideas on how to address this issue, then by all means, share!
(and i'm not saying to start doing flyers Top 40 style. there are ways to design flyers with hot women and still make it look stylish/classy) |

Seriously, before coming to these forums I was always under the impression that it is a GAY club. I still think it is, but my view has changed.
Before hearing about it more in here, I would have never in my life go there. And I will let you know that all of my friends feel the same way. One time i brought it up that we should go, and they all reacted like "No way, I am not going to a Gay club to see a bunch of shirtless doods" |

Daniel, alls I am doing is telling you what happened at home - take heed or don't, I don't give a really - if the house scene disappears from here, I will just have a baby. Simple.
Dima, you would be surprised at the difference 100 TAs make. I for one am 4 or 5 people in total as is alocin and I am sure so are many others such as Fairy, SuperJimmy et al - what I mean by this is, 100 TAs is probably 3-400 punters - a whole Sat capacity if the last few weeks are to be taken into consideration. |

You lost me. How is 100 TAs 300-400 punters? I was speaking strictly from the rollcall numbers for Sonic's events. |
