it just sucks that the "mass" referred to is so horrible.
i like all the local DJs (they are great people, in person, and DJing) but the crowd they bring just turns me off.
my goal this year is to check out as many off the radar parties as possible.
like the Dennis Ferrer party at The Great Hall. That was incredible. |

For the first time I actually checked out Northbound Leather store up in Montreal. I didn't realise that kind of clothing is so #$%$#$%#$%#$%$ expensive. I've always wanted a corset. |

I only have a few issues (and they were already mentioned in here)
I loved the Lounge(bring it back): That bar is not being used and it never will be. Put a DJ set up in there, even if it's two CDJs and a mixer and small stereo set up. PERFECT. Put ropes where the coat check is, to control movement around there.
Price it has to be 20 bucks always, never 30. That's incredibly cocky to charge that when a party at Guv is 30 bucks All Access.

Ultra spins are cheap yes, but most guv all access are at least 50$ if not more if you get your ticket late. Also they make revenue from alcohol, Sonic does not. I find 30bucks very reasonable considering there is no revenue from booze. |

ESP the lounge, that place RULED. Options in a club, of chilling in another area are always good. |

$30 is too much, as for the no alcohol option, meh...just b/c I want a beer doens't mean I'm not there for the music. |

Yes! Theme nights are a great way to attract some attention. Also, do up that damn patio ffs. I've had so many great idea's on how to make that patio a little more pleasent to chill in, I dunno how nothing's been done with it yet.

yea seriously. but unfortunately this is beating a dead horse. we all know they can't give us booze on a weekly basis so there's no point bitching about it..........maybe offer alternatives? hand out a pills at the door? LOL |

just cuz people aren't buy booze, doesn't mean they don't get ANY revenue from the bar, especially with 9 dollar gatorades.
i haven't paid 50 dollars for a Guv event in a long time. Even LoL was 40. With Digweed! |

Why not? (NOT about the pill option :P lol) They've done it before w the booze on a weekly, like when I was @ Mylo, they ran out when I was there just @ 2am. Have the best of both worlds...get the best of both types of vibes. At least given the right type of environment/combination of things. |

Fair enough. Well any afterhours I've been to in Montreal is at least 30$. BUT unlike montreal, Sonic has to compete with other clubs like guv who open early and charge much less to get in. So I take my comment back lol They should just be charging 20$ all night or even 10-15$ till 2am and 20$ after. It would probably make people a little less hesitant to come later on in the night. |
