Dima - what is there not to understand?? I am saying that 100 TAs don't just hang around with each other - that they have groups of friends (well, some of us do, perhaps Dan is a half... ;)) and that in total, it can be very influential as opposed to 'just 100 people'. |

I talk to some gay friends...and they don't like going to SONIC because they find Saturdays too str8...The gays find it too str8, the str8 crowd find it too gay...I think we went over this already on page 2 - 6 of this thread...
Last Saturday was 90% or more str8. I didnt see any shirtless guys and it was a decent turnout...I think the message is being heard. The CARWASH crew are not going Saturdays...and by the looks of the upcoming bookings, they will NOT be going saturdays anytime soon. The carwash crew go for the DJ's not the club. The gay crowd that do show up Saturdays, like myself, go for the music and the people, and keep our shirts on.
Now can we get over the shirtless issue seeing that there are no shirtless guys on Saturdays anymore and deal with the other issues which upset people like GUM ? lol |

Ok, gotcha now, but what you said will still only reach TAs as they're the ones to read this board, unless you expect TAs to lecture their non-TA friends why they should go out and support Sonic more often. Speaking from personal experience, my non-TA friends are just not EDM-obsessed enough to give a about whether or not some club survives. They'll go with me to events and stuff, but they're not as picky when it comes to music, so they don't really care about preserving the state of the scene here, they just wanna go dancing. So even if TAs do their best to try and sway their friends to go to Sonic all the time, it won't do much unless Sonic attracts them by itself, which is the very problem that is being discussed here. |

the problem is actually getting them to come...I have alot of friends that I've tried to persuade in coming with me, show them videos of past events and the response is always the same..."yeah man, the place is going off and all...but what's with all the shirtless guys?"....I know I've been harping about this alot, but it's a major problem amongst alot of guys and girls coming |
