Yes, but Montreal's intoxicant of choice is also...

You know the answer. It makes a difference.

I hope we see a response from someone at the club. We certainly heard from Nevio when he didn't want us throwing gum on his new hardwood floors.

How does that saying go?...."If you keep on doing what you've always done, you'll keep on getting what you've always gotten."

Are YOU really listening? Dude, I am surprised at your defensiveness and closemindness. Seriously. In case you hadn't noticed, this is a thread which has offered several good suggestions to improve what could be the best club in the city (IMO)...take it or leave it, my friend....

See you Saturday. Peace.

It'd be interesting to know exactly what the profit margin is for Sonic.

If it's running a decent amount in the black, then it's working. Don't try to fix what is not broken.

If not, well, there's room for improvement.

If you go back and read my posts I agreed with many of the points that were made. In my honest opinion, that is how I feel about the ONE point that you made about the earlier opening. I've been involved with this venue since the early days of Boa, and from my observations I form my opinion.

'To each his own' (that's another saying, right Andrew?) ;)

I havent been to sonic since back in sept 2006 and it has nothing to do with the club, more for personal reasons. I love Sonic, and everything about it. The late opening is great, the fact that you can stay there till 9 - 10 and there is no need to go to the zone. The crowd is great. And i dont mind paying the extra cover.

January might be a slow month because alot of peoples new years resolutions are to party less. Also alot of straight clientel do not wanna try Sonic because of the stigma that the club carries, they simply think that its a "Gay Club". So i think that having a shirts on policy on saturdays is an AMAZING idea.

Personaly i dont care about alcohol. I dont usualy drink when going to these clubs. I like how Sonic keeps thier doors open late and introducing alcohol would change that.

Im sure by late April Sonic will pick up again. I know i will be come to party more often.

One more thing. Sonic closed at 7am last Friday/Saturday and 8am on Saturday/Sunday, so your argument that people know you will be open at least 5-6 hours longer doesn't wash. At least not last weekend....:whip:

I see where Jeff is coming from and I'm gonna have to agree with him. Unless they are serving alcohol they will probably lose more clientel opening earlier and closing earlier for the reason he stated: people come at 3am because they know it will at least be open till 8am. People want to drink until 2am.

I vote for getting rid of this ridiculous 2am only drinking hours.

We open the doors at 10pm on Friday, hence the 7am close.

I'll vote you for you lol. I agree, it should be at least until 3am, if not even later.
