"she won the pop vote"

on the surface this may be true but it's completely misleading when you break it down. it s only because of the massively leaning democratic 6 states ie. California that she won the popular vote

Clinton’s popular vote margin- 629,878 LIBERAL BASTION CLINTON STATE MARGINS California – 2,746,562 New York – 1,503,304 Illinois – 859,319 Maryland – 624,305 New Jersey – 486,243 Washington – 480,072 Clinton’s liberal bastion state margin – 6,699,805 TRUMP’S POPULAR VOTE MARGIN IN OTHER 44 STATES – 6,069,927

in these 6 states republicans don't even bother to vote because they know their vote won't matter. if I look at the other 44 states trumps popular vote margins was over 6 million .. ie. in the states that were battleground trump won ALL of them, including he actually flipped democratic states like Michigan from previous elections .

Wait, and why wouldn't Democrats in many of these other states not bother voting because their vote is irrelevant? The argument has to cut both ways.

The electoral college has its roots in slavery.

I'd like to see a popular vote not that it would do anything to change the contentious of elections but to encourage full participation from all citizens no matter where they lived. I doubt the electoral college will ever be abolished because it has benefited the Republicans in two recent elections.

Well yea of course it does as that's the time period it was created. It made sense (nothing to do with slavery btw) to use it as it was very difficult to get news/information out during that time. It kept the uninformed masses from screwing up. These days, it has outlived it use and should be removed. It's come up under enough scrutiny lately where we just might see it removed.

yea except, that california and ny are WAY higher pop density than say indiana, or even texas.

democratic leaning legislation leads to more population density, democratic states attract more people to them, by virtue of their socialist policies. policies that involved high density government-subsidized housing. coupled with highly dependency on government benefits. creates a vicious cycle of government depndency and always voting again to recycle the party who enacts legislation that favours this benefit-dependent policy.

so you have a situation where, there are 10 times as many voters who are actually sucking from the system....all these votes count the same as a voter who lives in a less dense populated state, but who probably is actually contributing their labor to the economy, like poor farmers, or people who do not qualify for this dependency, or their state doesnt get any federal funding because they dont have enough people living their and their leadership doesnt get any funding because politically they are completely in opposition to the neo democratic policies that favour these exact same funding programs.

so it is a vicious cycle, where more an more dependent poor people gravitate to these democratic policy states, and are contributing less and less to the actual economy, and thus their vote really shouldnt be worth as much as those who are actually contributing, and paying the tin yamount of taxes that they do pay, if any.

btw, guess who is NOT taking his presidents salary. or he said he would take 1$, because you have to take a salary of some amount.

If only white male landowners were the only ones allowed to vote. Oh those good ole days are a calling.

Lol, what ing hogwash. Do you actually believe this bull or are you just writing it to provoke people? In general red states are net recipients of federal funding while blue states are net contributors:

Probably because they are busy developing modern economies rather than pining for the good old days and soothing their pain with ing Oxycontin, self-pity, and Trump votes.

People move to cities to make the kind of money that is only possible with dense population and economies of scale. Even Trump could probably tell you that.

Yeah, but there are far more Republican leaning states than blue states overall. I don't understand why you think they don't cancel each other out :conf:

I think what he is trying to say is he doesn't like the poor minorities who live in the inner city.
