False hope. He is not going to be prevented from becoming president, nor will he be impeached. We are going to have at least four years of this stain being America's chief representative on the world stage. Assuming that a heart attack or stroke doesn't carry off his obese ass in the meantime. Hardly uncommon for someone of his age and girth.

I think you're right, they're would have to be such a perfect paper trail leading back to him for it to even have a chance, and frankly he's just not that dumb.

But there is a theme with Donnie and it goes back years as his pattern; he rides roughshod over rules/laws and refuses to back down until there's serious personal endangerment, and then just before the paint of no return, he quickly deals out.

Just look at the trump University settlement. He swore he'd never settle it and it was only when he was going to have to testify (and basically perger himself) that he settled for the max possible award.

It's when he actually backs down is when there's real liability.

Case in point; he again swore there's nothing illegal about the trump Foundation ave said he'd never give it up and suddenly, now the NY attorney General is digging, he's going to dissolve the charity for what he's describing as Aesthetic reasons.

Again, I think he'll dodge the bullet and sadly, we're stuck with him for 4 ty years.

Fixed.

The last time there's been a one-term president after a transition of power from one party to another was back in 1981 when Jimmy Carter failed to serve for another term. Trump's being held in such low standards that it's not unreasonable to think whatever he does will make he look less disastrous than expected, thus helping his ratings.

I didn't think he'd be president. Now I think he may well be reelected. Let's all hope I'm wrong again :p

I hope so but even conspiracy theories aside, it's really looking like Russia did influence the vote, and that HRC was the least popular main dem candidate in decades, unless Trump really does somehow make America Great Again, it's going to be tough for him in 4 years.

And bear in mind the dems are planning the biggest political cockblock in history making Obama's progress look like german efficiency. I doubt that Trump will actually get to do a lot. He talks a good game, but everything he wants to do has to be voted on and the mid terms will be upon us before he's made nay progress.

If the economy wobbles though he's out in 4 years (and given that the DOW is higher than it's ever been, and interest rates went up for the first time in 8 years, and he's planning a trade war with China, and a friendly but costly arms race with Russia, it's going to be nigh on impossible for Trump to win.

Because aside from the redneck stuff, what he ran on more than anything, was business acumen. He better deliver a shiny(er) new economy to the working class or he done.

But wait - Didn't Bush Snr only serve one term? He was criticized for the poor handling of relief efforts after a hurricane in the election year and lost to Bill Clinton?

That's why I added the "after a transition of power" bit. He was unlucky and became president after 8 years of Republican presidency, so the wear and tear of politics eventually gave the presidency back to the Democrats after 12 years of Republican rule.

By contemporary US standards, 12 years is quite an era :p

yea russia also caused hillary to lose 8 electors while trump only lost 2. Russia also caused almost the entire Senate and House to become Republican. Russia also causes global warming and common colds.

You do realize that influencing the vote on a mass scale affects both the general election and the Senate races right? You can't actually influence one without the other.

, I wonder if you actually understand how voting works.

No wonder trump called it brexit+++. Dumbasses didn't know what they were voting for :stongue:

Oh , over 35 russian diplomats have been immediately expelled from the USA, and two Russian "compounds" were raided and closed, as they served as "intelligence related offices" for Russian hacking activity in to the US election.

quote:
"These actions follow repeated private and public warnings that we have issued to the Russian government, and are a necessary and appropriate response to efforts to harm U.S. interests in violation of established international norms of behavior," Obama said in a statement from vacation in Hawaii.

It was not immediately clear whether President-elect Donald Trump, who has repeatedly praised Russian President Vladimir Putin and nominated people seen as friendly toward Moscow to senior administration posts, would seek to roll back the measures once he takes office on Jan. 20.

Still don't believe that Comrade Trumpski had help from his main bankroller, Vlad?

ok you're a crazy conspiracy theorist we get it. u have zero credibility at this point. first u were dead wrong about who would win the election and now u r attempting to rationalize it by concluding that Russian hackers somehow caused 70million Americans to choose Trump on their voter cards . u need medication

You need to learn to not make posts like a 9-year-old.

Dude, quit getting to post numbers; on that count, Hilary won, and there's no theory here.

Russians hacked the dnc and the gop but only handed over the dnc emails to publish. If that ain't helping I don't know what is?

Julian assange said he didn't want Hilary and was only too happy (in his own words) to publish them.

Russia had a vested financial interest in Trump winning and they helped him along by convincing dumb schmucks like you that he's the best man for the job.

Again, I'm happy to see what trumpski can do, but given he still won't release his tax returns and his picks so far are the whitest, richest and least diverse in decades, I'm not holding it much hope for you who need welfare medication to stay slightly sane.
soulstar606
you sound like a raving schizophrenic madman, pacing back and forth on some sparsely lit street corner as you mutter half-intelligible incoherent conspiracy theories-------"MUHHHH, IT'S DA RUSSIANZZZ!!!! I TELL YOU! THE RUSSIANS THEY ARE ALL SPYING ON US AND---AND---AND THEY CONTROL PEOPLES MINDS AND TELL THEM WHO TO VOTE FOR!! MUHHHH!!"
