In fairness, Trump isn't actually behind schedule when it comes strictly to appointees;
in fact he's actually ahead of Obama, Bush and Clinton who by this time hadn't appointed anyone (Obama didn't appoint anyone until late november, Bush was in a legal bind until december, and Clinton didn't appoint until december as well).
What he is behind on is very ing worrying; the pentagon still haven't received any of his team; no transition team in history has had to fire 3 people in the first week, Mike pence still hasn't signed the government nondisclosures required to actually start the transition, and now the calls for Bannon to be fired are peaking.
The there's a conflict of interests:
The Wall Street Journal has reported that the building for Trump's hotel in DC, is leased off a federal government agency, that on Jan 20th, he takes control over. He'll be both public landlord and private tenant, and he's admitted to hiring someone to renegotiate the property taxes now he holds both positions.
He's refusing to put his assets in blind trust. Doesn't sound bad but , this is the one you want to be more worried about than anything else. Without it, it means he has full control to both steer and control his private businesses and government policy at the same time for mutual benefit. This would the definition of insider trading on a federal and global level.
And finally, in a radio interview, with then radio personality MIKE BANNON (yep, now chief strategist for Trump), Trump talks about the possibility of becoming president and mentions that he would have a "conflict of interest" in Turkey, as a nato ally, becuase he has Trump towers there, and suggests that would be a problem when it came to decision making.
This presidency really could be the single biggest cluster in history, at the expsen of the american people, for personal gain.

but the NY attorney general office gets $4m(smh). (actual attorneys working the case won't take legal fees though). which leaves $21m left for the 6000 student plaintiffs,
$21m/6000 = $3500 per student
yea, this is basically just a cash grab for the nyag, meanwhile these ambulance chasing students get to sue a billionaire because they didn't become billionaires too after taking the courses.
I love it when u get to sue your university for the tuition amount when you don't become rich once u complete the courses.

Oh no you don't:
1, The NY attorney general office ONLY gets $1m which is a pittance for what Trump did.
The lawyers are going to make the most given that it's usually 30% of the total awarded.
2, No one knows how many plaintiffs there are. It's at least three people but that figure you're using of 6000 is everyone that attended Trump university over the entire time it ran and many of that number didn't join the suit. It's more than likely to be in the hundreds at best.
3, $25m is the maximum trump could have been liable for had it gone to trial and he lost. Yep, that means he took the biggest potential hit he could, just so he didn't have to stand in the dock and incriminate himself.
4, There's still TWO outstanding CLASS ACTION lawsuits pending on Trump for the University scam - these were people who are going to be paid a lot more as they spent more money and got deeper in to the course and decided not to be part of the case that was settled today as those damaged were going to be lower.
5, Those two other pending suits could result in criminal charges and again another reason that these people decided to stay out of the lesser suit.
Why? becuase some of the plaintiffs are elderly, and there's incredibly strict criminal laws in NY about defrauding the elderly. Those plaintiffs know they have a much better case and if malice can be proven becuase of the elderly fraud, all damages are TRIPLED. So already the case is going to be worth more than $25m and that figure could be tripled. That could be $100m+ and he sure as doesn't have that money.
That means Trump has to settle as he can't afford to stand trial and lose, becuase the result will be criminal charges and instant impeachment.
Going to be an expensive few months for crooked Trump.
