Lira, you know I love you; however, agree to disagree? That's talk right there. When someone is being a ing idiot you call them a ing idiot, ridicule them for their stupidity, and then point out exactly how and why they are ing idiot. The argument isn't about trying to convince the idiots - as they are too stupid and idiotic to understand a well reasoned argument - no, the argument is about getting through to those that are only kinda, sorta, idiots and showing them why the ing idiot is wrong so they don't follow the same path. By taking the way out and agreeing to disagree what you are really doing is abandoning the kinda idiots to fall prey to the ing idiots. What kind of person does that? That's just sacrificing the weak for the sake of your own comfort, which is okay when we're talking about third world labour toiling in a sweatshop so I can buy a reasonably priced jacket but absolutely not okay when talking about something as important as politics. |

I hate to defend Lira but his role as mod is to keep the peace here and not side with anyone even though he might privately hold an opinion this person is a moron. In this case the idiots in question are mentally unstable and/or delusional. So responding to anything they say is folly. It's analogous to arguing with a street vagrant.
One could also argue the importance of politics in the grand scheme of things. And arguing over it with a crazy person on a defunct message board could be deemed substantially less "important". |

California DOES NOT CURRENTLY ALLOW SAME DAY VOTER REGISTRATION you absolute ing moron.
Secondly, you HAVE to show government issued ID for same day registration:
