So true; this whole thing is now reaching Watergate levels.

Comey isnt that stupid to make such a dumb "mistake". He doesn't know what he had, nor did he have a warrant for the laptop making he couldn't even assess what he had, then was specifically unstructed by the DoJ not to say anything, so what dies he do?

Immediately announces.

And then we learn from Guiliani that the trump camp were told three weeks prior.

And then that there are multiple agents in the FBI, not just leaking information, but actively calling up members of the press to hand them information.

And then the FBI decide to release, several years ahead of time but less that a week before the election, all the case files relating to Bill Clinton's 11th hour pardon of Rich, which happened over 20 years ago.

And now the DNC have found bugs in their headquarters.

You can't make this up. It sounds all to far fetched but it's actually happening.

The Florida stats ate brilliant; trump can't win without a serious majority in FL, and it looks like Latinos ate going to tip it. Oh the irony.

I know it must look that way, but everything I just posted is actually fact:

Giuliani confirmed the notion (of leaks) Friday during an appearance on “Fox & Friends.”

“I did nothing to get it out, I had no role in it,” he said. “Did I hear about it? You’re darn right I heard about it, and I can’t even repeat the language that I heard from the former FBI agents.”

Giuliani also said he expected Comey’s announcement to come weeks before it did.

“I had expected this for the last, honestly, to tell you the truth, I thought it was going to be about three or four weeks ago, because way back in July this started, they kept getting stymied looking for subpoenas, looking for records,” he said.

FBI officials knew about the newly discovered emails weeks before Comey’s announcement, according to multiple reports.

The Justice Department advised the FBI chief his letter would be against department policy to not comment on investigations close to an election, the officials said.
They added it was contrary to department policies and procedures but Comey decided to disregard their instructions and sent the letter Friday anyway, shaking the presidential race 11 days before the election

he Democratic National Committee has reportedly submitted evidence to the Federal Bureau of Investigation to suggest its headquarters were bugged.

As reported by Mother Jones, two anonymous DNC officials said that a sweep of its offices in Washington DC found a radio signal device near the chairman’s office which could have been used to listen to phone calls.

"We were told that this was something that could pick up calls from cell phones," a DNC official told the publication.

Asd I said, you can't make this up.

Holy sheet.

CNN is reporting that Clinton has what may be described as an "Insurmountable Lead" in Nevada in early voting. Ther has been apparently a "massive surge" for the democrats, mainly fuelled by Latino's turning out in record numbers.

This was a state that Trump thought would be tight but had in the bag. If Florida really has done the same thing, it's not looking good for Trump......

A Bolsonaro presidency, however, would be completely novel as far as I can tell. A reactionary leader here usually takes the helm by sheer force - from that one time the marshals took the throne (and turned the country into republic) to 1964.

Besides, a quick look into his decisions as a politicians would land him in trouble for praising free market yet voting time and again against it. So, yeah, I think a Trump presidency is much more likely than a Bolsonaro presidency.

I felt the backlash against PT was pretty strong when i was there, but i guess that's neither here nor there. But, wait, if you're drawing parallels between Goldwater and Trump, than why do you you think Trump has a greater chance of winning than the former? This is even more worrisome.

lolololol

So after all of Trump's bashing of illegal immigrants taking jobs, the AP has announced that have documents showing that Milania Trump, worked in the US prior to having a visa:

Aaaaaaand the FBI says there's no wrongdoing in the new batch of Clinton emails.

A bit too late considering the date of the election but, well, the probe is over and nothing illegal was found.

Actually, it is relevant.

Brazil still has some apparent difficulties with transition of power. FHC handing power to Lula was the only peaceful planned transition of power to a different party I've seen in my life - all others were either from or to impeached presidents (or if they all belonged to the same party). The mounting anxiety with what was happening in neighbouring countries that went from the pink tide to full-on red socialist autocracies made the backlash all the more vicious once the economy slowed down.

This made the right wing less shy because no politician would say they're right wing up until recently because of the last military dictatorship. The hysteria changed all that.

Not much greater, I still think the free world will be led by a woman this time around. Unless Clinton voters get a bit too comfortable, which I don't think they will, courtesy of the FBI.

The comment of Trump taking California made my morning. :stongue:

Any experts here have a say on whether or not the Democrats will get back the Senate majority?

According to 538, it's a toss-up. About as 50-50 as it can get.

Theirs is about as much of an informed opinion as you can get, methinks.
