Japan played it as it should, this a clear case of Belgium winning the game, and not Japan losing it. The subs and concentration on an aerial attack in the box was the difference. Brilliantly played by Japan in all aspects they've earned my respect and hopefully's Lira's too (if not he might be sleeping on the couch). :tongue2

No offense to my Brazilian Bretherin, but I am beginnning to hate Brazil for one single reason, named Neymar.

It's one thing to constantly foul bate, but every_single_time he's fouled, he acts like he's simultaneously having a limb amputated and just been given a horse-killing dose of amphetamines.

It's making a mockery of his team and the game - I hope a ref shows him a red card the next time he does it.

Neither team I'm rooting for have played Brazil yet, you know.

I'm saying Neymar is a twat for rolling around like an idiot. It's embarrassing.

Scored a goal, had an assist, and played great football. I don't have any complaints.

I can’t think of a player I dislike more. It’s a shame with all that talent he resorts to that crap. A yellow card is what’s needed.

Yeah, he's a c*nt. I hate our own team because of him.

I'm cheering for Belgium since 2014 anyways. Nothing changed for me.

This team needs to win a big game at World Cup. I truly believe that, if they do so, they will be the World Champions. Last time they lost to Argentina. Let's see if this time they can do better..

Actually, I'm team Neymar this time.

Layun stood on Neymar's injured ankle. Before that, Brazilian TV got a glimpse of Layun pretty much roundhouse kicking Neymar before while the game was going on elsewhere. There's very good video evidence of the stomp. I'm sure the Swiss cleats ealirer in the tournament wouldn't have made as many holes as they made one Neymar if they all kicked along a wheel of Swiss cheese. I mean, look at this:

He's clearly aiming at Neymar's Achilles' heel, and the referee is right there. Also, back in 2014 when we didn't know the 7-1 was about to happen, he was pretty much knocked out of the tournament by a flying kick to the back delivered by a Colombian in the final minutes of the quarterfinals - that's how violent it got - and that's what eventually brought us down against Germany. So, yeah, if being a punching bag doesn't warrant you protection against more physical opponents, wouldn't you try to draw attention to what was going on in the most obvious possible way?

In the last 4 years, since you brought up 2014, there have been more than 30 non-Neymar players not Neymaring in the Seleção, and you hate the team because of him? :conf:

Hi,

This is Lira reporting from the couch. I sleep here now!

SYSTEM-J
He's become the boy who cried wolf. I think he's regressed at PSG, to be honest.
sensorium
Come on Lira, that image shows exactly what Neymar does a lot. The Mexican player didn't even put pressure, which is why Neymar was late to react, only after seeing the foot away. It was intentional trolling.
