The Church gets all 5 fines. I don't actually know what happens to the underage drinker.
Max did say he was disappointed but we will definitely have him back for a full length set soon. He really liked the rooftop at Vinyl & wants to play there after the rest of the club opens. |

yeh the rooftop looks straight from the piccies...then again i cant imagine how that is at the same location as the old Vinyl!:eyespop:
looks nice tho...you have any info on the new setup there? i bet you do, but can you fill us in? it was kinda skewed and odd before - any more symmetry? a more open space would be killer| |

It was my first time seeing Max, but I had a hockey game beforehand and only got to catch about a half an hour of his set. On top of that, I was running around doing the hello's during that time, so I didn't even get to zone in on it. Sounded really good, and Armin was pretty good too, but I would have rather seen all Max. I've seen Armin and know what he brings to the table, whereas I've never heard Max's set progression live. Transport 4 is fantastic, but you can really judge a dj on their live performances. Hopefully he'll be back soon.
Biz - If you talk to him, let him know that a lot of people out here were there to see him and were disappointed that Armin took part of his time. It's pretty much the consensus on Colorado Rave. |

| The rooftop of Vinyl is proper good! Open space to walk and a ton of seating all around. Like you said Biz, it's hard to imagine it's the same place. |

Yah, I jus thought it was quite lame that we couldnt take one quick picture then leave thats all we really wanted...girls getting their ass's signed by a dj they dont even know is ridiculous

But what would you expect from a bunch of mindless degenerates anyways? Do u think someone with an education would have that job?

Well, I know so far that the DJ booth is going to be against the back wall where there used to be a bar (by the bathrooms), and they're going to try to keep it as close to the audience level as possible, & hopefully make it so that people can come up and around the back & look down on the DJ like it was before. The DJ's always liked that about vinyl - they felt like part of the crowd that way.
Then I know they did another raised area on the main floor kind of where the VIP area was before (on the right) but much smaller so that should open up more dancing space.
The basement is the same I think - haven't been down there yet to see for myself but it didn't get much damage during the collapse so there really wasn't any reason to remodel.
The 2nd floor is going to be the most different I think. They made the bathrooms much bigger & there's like a private sort of chillout area in the back right next to them (which is already open b/c of the rooftop). But the pooltables are gone & the room is only 2/3rds as big so I'm not sure what it will look like in the end. Maybe I'll go explore it later today & post my findings :) |
