Shawn, I'm assuming b/c you haven't linked us to anything that this is just what you're hearing through the grapevine...
Anyways, Deep Dish would be great and I hope you're right about JXL, because he destroyed vinyl back in April.
As far as the hating is concerned, to each his own kiddies, oakie was great back in the day, but to sit here and say that i'd actually pay to see him headline a gig anymore no i wouldn't, unless the "undercard" was intriging to me (e.g. DD and JXL)
$0.02
ps I'm bored |

Lol, what makes you think I don't hear his abroad? He doesn't impress me in the least. He's a ing bandwagon hopper anymore, though I would never, ever dispute the fact he pretty much broke the scene here, and he used to be play in great, though his mixing has always been ty. I gotta agree though, if I were him, I'd just keep putting out the he does as it seems to make more than enough to keep up his coke habit.
But honestly, me saying I'd rather see Acosta than Oakie is like telling vomit it stinks, in all reality I wouldn't go see either of them unless like Chad said there was someone else there playing.
Haha, I'd rather go see Pvd than Oakie anymore, and that's say ALOT. |

You will all hate me for saying this... but I would sooo go see acosta than oakenfold anyday. |
So we'd all hate you for stating your personal preference or opinion? :conf:
To each his own, not everyone will like the same track/genre/dj thats the way the world works, yet everyone always seems to get so worked up over some stupid bs:conf: oh well.... |

| So I hope you'll all excuse me if I don't read all 300 pages of this forum. Whats the Colorado scene like, especially in denver? Any good local clubs? Any big names coming to town this summer. I'm moving there starting in June, and I'd like to be prepared. |

LOL @ all of you idiots calling out GA and HIS OWN style, saying he can't mix and plays outdated  LOL @ all you "bedroom" DJ's spinning for the posters on your wall, one too many cracked out nights at 2 am huh?
Ive seen george acosta spin many times ranging from masives to more intimate 21+ venues, yes he is full of his typical cheesey poses (hands behind the head with his eyes closed seems to be his favorite) but he always brings it hard and new. Yes sometimes he plays melodic, and sometimes classic, but the crowd always seems to love it, even all the times ive seen him spin in CO.
My point is simply this, the guy knows his . Have you heard his weekly lost world sets? lots of unreleased bangin tracks. His style seems to be getting harder and harder, and his transitions are flawless.
Unless your a famous DJ, which i assure your not, you sound like a freeking retard critisizing DJ's like oakenfold and acosta who have clearly payed there dues to at the position of there carreers. So let it go, and find something else to cry about, because no one wants to listen to a critical retard :) |

FYI our thread was way better back in the first 100-130 pages, you should read those, now it just sucks.
Vinyl and the Church=biggest clubs/talent bringers. No real lineups posted that far ahead yet, except the Global Dance Fest will probs be sometime in late summer... |

Then I guess we wouldn't want to listen to that post, now would we?
Get off Acosta's nuts, Pip farting on a snare drum is a more interesting performance than he'd ever put on.
*edit* lolololol, this fool said Acosta's transitions are flawless:stongue: |
