Umm...not quite. Thanks for trying though. I admit Shawn's productions and sets aren't my style, but I definitely respect where he's gotten. I don't agree with the same BPM burning, lol...and same with the shameless self promotion in this thread. But getting signed to Lost Language and getting to where he's gotten to in our local scene is an accomplishment.
You have got to be kidding me about not offering DJs. We've had great ing lineups as of late.
But FYI I don't trainwreck, and I haven't played any gigs lately b/c I'm not actively pursuing it. Considering I haven't been actively keeping up with new releases in the last few months I'm not ready to anyways. Being unable to record a new demo is a big hurdle when you're an aspiring DJ, and unfortunately I don't have rich parents to buy my . No where in this thread have I mentioned I'm a better DJ than Mitiska or anyone else for that matter (except Acosta...lol.)
And as for your last post whoring Lange, or 99% of your posts in this thread? Reference those if you want to know why all of the COTAs I know (which is a majority that are actually active in our scene) really don't care for you, and are glad you don't come out. And would be even happier if you didn't bother to post in this thread. You seriously need to lay off powdering people's balls,it gets old real fast. Please lay off the whoring or just stay in the Tracklist forum ffs. |

I was takeing no offense to your comment, I actually thought it was a pretty dick thing to say to Erik as he is your friend. I don't have any problems with you what so ever and I often agree with your rants about Santiago and such. In no way am I saying i'm a better DJ than James Zabiela cause I probably like him as much as you do, I think Eriks comment was more so about stateing how he didn't enjoy the music, not his DJing skills etc. As for the comment from Pagoda that was down write a cheap shot that is far from the truth, I do not know you, and I just don't understand where a comment like that would come from when I wasn't even considering you in the conversation or discussion between myself and Jason. I have nothing left to say, i'm done reading this part of the forums, and i'm especially done with ever showing respect to anyone from COTA. |

That's the thing, you *never* have. The only time you ever felt the need to post in here was to promote your productions and shows or whine when no one ever showed up to one. I dunno about you, but IMO expecting people to come out to your shows when you've never made any real effort to participate in any discussion or get to know anyone here is an unrealistic expectation. |

I've been posting on this forum for quite some time now before I knew anyone in Colorado before I had tracks signed and released. The only reason I inform or say anything about my music is because I think you guys would be a lil excited for me and whats going on. However like I said im through.

I honestly don't remember you ever posting in the COTA forum before you started to play out and produce...and ever since then, the only time you've ever bothered to come in here is (with the exception of 1 or 2 posts) has been to promote yourself. I know I'm not the only one thinking that we'd be excited for you if you actually made the effort to say anything in COTA outside of "I'm playing here, this track is getting released", etc...When I first heard of you, before I had even heard a track, I thought it was cool that we had someone from COTA who made it big in the scene...but then you started to come in here and the only time you would bother to communicate to anybody is to self promote, never to say 'hey guys, what's up, lets spin/meet up/chill/get lit and jump off something'...why would you want to support that? |

We all know jason is just joking with erik, i mean all us COTA's who are active in the scene and meet-up know that. :rolleyes: theres no reason for any bashing here. As for pagoda, i'm sure he doesnt trainwreck, or why else would erik let him spin out (if i remember correctly just about a few months ago???)
anywho... i believe we're all reasonable people here who appreciates music in our own ways, whether it is to go out to the clubs and see the djs we like perform, showing support for our locals, or even staying at home listening to sets.
soooo lets just put all this behind...
p.s. Can't wait for next week! Nic Fanciulli and Above & Beyond, then GDF!!!! hellz ya!! u biatches better look out for this lil one here!! :D |

Lol, how much of the COTA base attending GDF will be off of our faces? We should be having somewhat of a preparty at myself & Ant's/Chadders places, who the is gonna drive is beyond me, but I'm not...And hells yeah for this Thurs, can't wait to see both of em!

The funny thing about that comment is that you say that as if not showing respect to COTA will be a change. It's called mutual respect mother******. You show a little respect to those who actually discuss anything, and maybe someone here might show you the smallest amount of respect back and come out and see you spin. You've never shown anyone in here an ounce of respect. And expecting everyone to just come out and support you? If success was that easy it'd be Pagoda, you, Antron and Erik headlining GDF, not you opening up with a mere 30 minute slot or however long its going to be, not that I could give a rats ass how long it is.
You call Jason an for something you know nothing about? If you're gonna call anyone an , it better ing be me. Jason never said a goddamned word about you in any sort of negative light, and then you just chime in with, "Spoken like a true ." You did a really ty job of trying to backtrack and explain yourself. Maybe if you'd explained why you were calling Jason an in the first place you wouldn't have had to take the cowards way out by saying you didn't really mean it.
Don't let the door hit your ass on the way out. The fact that no one has come to your gigs should be enough to tell you that no one cares. It's not like we're all gonna be sitting here crying over the fact that you won't post here anymore. Well...Elletek might, but who the cares about that? It's not like she's ever really added anything productive to any sort of discussion anyway, except for pointing out the "shooting" at the Church the other night and her internet didn't freeze over the winter.
But if you're really done posting here, there probably won't be a response to this post anyway will there?

Oh yea and for all the people raggin on Nitemer (Erik). Leave him alone, he's a cool guy. All of us need to bow down to that guy. Everydamn time I go to some club or record store there is a flyer with his stuff on it. We're all just very jealous!
P.S. Next time you guys are walking down 16th street mall you all need to stop by this stupid wig shop. In the front window they got this guy who should still be in like 1970 with a pencil thin mustache and a gigantic afro. You all gotta check that one out. Let's pool our money together so we can buy it and take turns wearing it when we're all ed up! Haha later |
