Tiestor has never impressed me as a DJ and I've seen the other DJs on that lineup before. Have to be some impressive ads to Resolution to get me there. |

who's playin resolution?
i've pretty much given up on the jvm/s&d - i mean its in a 26000 sq ft ballroom, so a room smaller than the main room at skylab, and we know how packed that was and it was just denver, we're talking nye/LA/s&d here.
i'm waiting to find out where howells is playing in LA before making any decisions [and find out who the hell is playing here, tho i'm not holding my hopes on that]

I saw Danny Howells last year for NYE in Toronto for a 5 hour set - fackin' wicked. :) Great DJ. Isn't he playing at the Together as One shindig with Deep Dish, etc at the LA Arena? I think that's what it said on Bullitt Bookings website at least.
For Resolution, the lineup thus far is Tiesto, Second Sun, Victor Calderone, Max Graham, Danny Torrence, Fabrio Fabrici (?) and one more TBA. It's at the Bell Centre and, while huge, going to shindigs in Montreal to me is better than an LA fest. :) Tribe is a smaller venue which means less packing, less asshats, more good tunes.
The only thing I've found for Denver so far was Dubfire. I'm looking like every day because I'm trying to figure out my fackin' NYE plans.
Oh, are you heading to Howells on Thursday night? I want to go but need peeps to go with.... |

oh man that f'n blowwwwwwwws, i want nothing to do with TAO-18+-over-crowded-danny-being-the-only-dj-i-care-to-see-at-the-gig.
yeah i'll be at howells for sure on thursday, i missed him here on the 4th of july [got too drunk :(]
if i can get friday off it will be a wild night, if not, then it will only be semi-wild :p
oh for the record resolution sounds like it'd blow for my music tastes lol. |

yep, hence the Lawler night out instead
Howells has been great 2 of three times I've seen him - the third time, at Decadence at the Guv in April, he was trying out this strange dark sound that just didn't work and we ended up going over to the Kool Haus to watch the end of Armin instead. Danny just isn't meant to be dark - he's jamming! |

| only time i didn't enjoy howells was the first time i saw him, but i was still in my transition from trance at that point, so with the way he goes in and out of genre's i was probably disappointed most by the flow. now a days tho, i love his style, go figure. |

Yeppers, I am thinking hard about it....Howells is def in my top ten to go see.
And it's official - I'm heading to Montreal for NYE with a pitstop in Toronto on the way back. :) The Canadians are going to rally - whoot! |
