Ill put money down you just misquoted numbers again because you are completely incapable of understanding anything that doesn't have pictures to explain the words for you....
both of the lancet studies were based on the effect of the occupation and invasion on the general mortality rate in Iraq, not the death toll.... they used data from field survey as well as information from the Iraqi health system. This data was then then analyzed and a statistical model was produced using a 95% confidence interval which is pretty broad... In any case this study was not about the number of civilians killed directly by conflict, it was a study on the estimated death toll due to all factors including lack of proper health care, secretarian conflict and lawlessness.... this was a far more encompassing study than the others. The second study went further to say that based on the data available only 31% of that total number of deaths were linked to violence.
If you don't read and understand the relevance of a study and just start quoting numbers from a prison planet article you found, you will only end up looking like more of an idiot than usual..... |
