yeah. these are the types of moves the mets have made in the past. thank the lord they have a new gm who seems to know what to do with this team. by now phillips for sure would've traded reyes for soriano. david wright and jason phillips for carlos beltran. and probably another trade of our top prospects for freddy garcia. he just loved to steal the back back from the yankees. which he rarely did anyway. |

From Mets standpoint, I like Red Sox very much, so if they'll do better than Yanks this season, then that will be better. Wait a minute, maybe Devil Rays will win the division?!! :haha: :haha: :haha: |

| tampas been playing some good ball lately but i dont see them keeping this up for the rest of the year. boston and ny dominate this division right now. i think next year the devil rays will put a lot of pressure on those teams. but how about baltimore? they spend all that money on tejada and lopez and they are only going to finish fourth in the division. |

dont forget palmeiro. but they have pitching. they'd be decent with some good pitching. |
