extra innings is addictive. i had it last year. theres just too many games to watch. you would need like 5 tvs with picture in picture. plus you have to put up with a lot of stupid announcers. |

ok now that u brought that up... what announcers do u like/loathe listening to?

michael kay/yankees tv broadcasts on yes/cbs. yankees broadcasts are pretty good with jim kaat at the helm. michael kay is just disgusting.
thom brennaman's voice annoys me a little.
like:
vin scully, and i've heard him only a few times. and i think when he was on nbc in the 80s when baseball was on nbc.
jon miller and joe morgan on espn sunday night baseball... i like jon miller's calls and joe morgan provides pretty good analysis.
gary thorne for mets and espn baseball games because he's even keel but when the game gets exciting, you can tell that he's genuinely interested in it.
harry kalas, phillies baseball. his voice is just gold.
i wish i could hear more announcers. |

i cant stand chip carray. absolute moron. he just repeeats whatever steve stone says. he only got the job because of his grandpa.
i like the dodgers announcers. they seem to know what they are talking about. |

hahaha! yeah, the braves announcers are horrible.
i think they should just get a soundboard with michael kay's sayings and press the corresponding button. ie:
'giambi swings... BASE HIT! 1 run will score... !2! runns will score and the yankees take... a 3 to nothing lead'
'see ya!'
i hate him.
but the absolute worst are tim mccarver and joe buck. OH MY GOD. last year, my brother and i put the radio on and the tv on mute during the playoffs. mccarver thinks he is baseball god and knows everything. he is SO critical of any mistake or something they 'should've done.' and ing buck just repeats whatever mccarver says. only in broadcasting cause of his pops. ughh... |
