Good news considering I have one on each of my fantasy teams. I guess that's why I picked them. So you're saying they'd be the first to honestly challenge Maris' record?
Rivera just has to be extra perfect with his location to the Red Sox because they see him so much. 26 times just last year. Plus the Red Sox are the best hitting club in the MLB. I still love the guy and I trust him (although with some more trepidation then in years past). Too bad he didn't have the Gagne change up. That's deadly. |

Well... not the first. Because Thome's come close before and I don't think he's juiced. But yeah, post-steroid, those are the boys. Possibly Alex Rodriguez. But more so Teieira and Dunn because they are younger. And the thing with Dunn is that he plays in a hitters ball park... but he doesn't barely clear the wall. The dude cleared the stadium once last year. !!! :eyes: Monster. |

Dunn won't chase 60 this year, I think if Pujols learns to hit to right center with power he'll be a contender for the chase. My money is on Pujol's this year, now that guy is a monster!
Then again I haven't been following his stats so I don't even know what shape he is in.
Anyways to the boston fans, how's that walk off feel?
What a game, the seats I had were great.
Oh and BTW to yankee fans, I have about half a season of 2 bleecher seats that i'm looking to unload. I'll let you all know about the dates. |

| something's going on with mo...thats twice in a row he's blown the lead...i could understand the sox owning mo, but two days in a row?? nah man...not even this early in the season...either something is physically wrong with him or he's tipping his pitches and the sox picked up on it... |

if you go back to game 4... that's 3 in a row
and pitches should be singular. he has only one pitch :wtf: |

| well you cant really count last season...different situation, different pressure...and he has a pretty good slider that he hardly uses because his cut fastball is damn effective...i dont know...again, this is only the 3rd game of the season so nobody should panic.. |

I just got from the game. Mo was not only hit hard, he was all over the place. The dude couldn't throw a strike to save his life. He's not usually wild like this. Actually, he blew games 4 and 5 in last year's playoffs. Although game 5 was unfair because there was a guy at third and it was a sac fly.
The Red Sox obviously have his number. They have seen him so many times they know how to adjust to the 2 pitches that he throws. But I start to wonder about him.... but it is early. This was the first year he didn't throw in the off-season so maybe he needs some time to get his arm warmed up. His fastball was topping out at 93 mph. He's usually around 95 mph. |
