Speaking of Bonds, the guy has been back for several games, and its almost like he never left, jackin' home runs out the park like nothing. I wonder how much longer til he break's 800 - he knows he's not winning a championship, so I guess he's gonna have to settle with the home run title. |

He won't be hitting 800. And, honestly, despite the HRs, he's not the same player he was. He's only got 1 more BB than he has walks. :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: :wtf: |

Well, I'm not Vlad, but Bonds is far from 'untradeable.' It's a one year deal for 20M. And we all see the impact that he has on a team. |

AL LEITER BABY lols...
its funny how you can have a guy like gary sheffield hit 2 homer runs (one of which is a grand slam) and at the same time lose the game. i don't know how that works, ain't grand slams suppose to make everyone else rise to the occassion? doesn't it amp up pitchers to feel like they own this game? I dunno maybe it has to do with their subconcious but when i pitched in highschool and my boys were smacking the out of the ball, i felt like this game was mine every inning i went out there. when the bats speak, you should have ever confidence in your team to support you so they need to go out there, throw strikes, and make them hit ground balls.
pitchers these days, i don't know... |

Leiter and mussina are too old to remember HS. They scored enough runs to win, but I agree when i used to play hitting pumped up the pitchers not these guys |
