Came back from the game with Vernon.. good one to be at in person. Great weather and some drama and a walk off hit. Plus my boy Matsui hit the game tying homer. Felix Escalona is a pimp. Well... maybe not.
Yanks starting pitching is really coming through lately except for the Big Bust. But to say it's just cuz of RJ is a bit of a stretch. He's definitely part of the problem but the bullpen has been a piece of crap outside of Mo. Gordon is alright but his arm is dead. Sturtze looks worn out! I saw Embree warming up and I wanted to cry.
Man just when it was 3-3 in the top of the 9th with Mo on the mound, the ing crowd starts doing the wave. Boom they get a hit and lead. WTF!!! Us sections 39ers weren't having any of that.
Vernon and I HATE THE WAVE and especially when it jinxes the team for the 2nd time. The first when the Big Bust had a no hitter into the 6th inning.
Fans were a bunch of Kevin Brown's tonight. That means douche bags. |

Yeah we all have a tendency to regret a couple that we blow. But he'll be fine, it's just a closer slump. His numbers overall are still amazing. |

sect 43 here - i love to sit/stand on the fence. standing is essential when you are out in the bleachers...oh and the wave at yankee stadium? what the hell, this ain't shea! i saw it monday too and didn't know wat the was goin on...and it's even worse when the bleachers continue it on..sorry i just don't sympathize with the wave, but talking and cursing at the other players is acceptable.
and since im in sect 43, i'm right by the CF (for toronto= vernon wells) the best one of the night "YOU'RE CANADIAN! GO BACK TO CANADA"

| i learned from sportscenter that the wave started at the university of washington in the 80s. they were handing john elway's stanford a royal ass whupping, and the kids at UW were bored, so they started the wave. blame those people |

Ive been to 5 different world series and 8 playoff series , including Don Mattinglys last game in 1995 my personal favorite and games 5 in 2001 Pauly o's last game(my second fav).Actually sometimes while i sit at my oversized desk while sitiing in my oversized chair(leather chair) i do listen to 1050 on my Bose waveradio, while i look at the walls of my-oversized office at my 2 college degrees/ Paul ONEILS'S AUTOGRAPHED PIC and out the window at my luxury car, I ponder am I a moron or garbage man becuase HIGHnay says so.... or just a real fan unlike the aforementioned Halfwit. |
