Ummmm... no. He JUMPED onto it. He and his friends were talking about whether or not the netting would hold a human. And he jumped. He's probably going to be arrested.
| quote: | According to police, Harper was at the game with three friends, and the four had been discussing whether the protective netting would support Harper's weight. In the bottom of the eighth inning, with the Yankees trying to mount a late rally, Harper jumped over the railing on the upper deck, landing on the netting behind home plate.
Harper could be charged with reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, criminal trespassing and disorderly conduct. A police spokesperson declined to say whether alcohol was involved in the incident. |

He would be my favorite Met if he wasn't such a cliche. |

My fav Yankee is a closer which I don't think is that cliche even though he's the Yanks most consistent dominant player. |

Well... I didn't mean a cliche that way. I meant that... he's too nice. Everything he says seems like it came out of the "Tony Gwynn Bible of Baseball Speak" or something. I hate hearing him talk. I'd much rather have Manny and his "I think you make your own destination." stuff... Hah! |

So if you liked football you'd be a big Terrell Owens fan.... |

Isaac BRUUUUUUUUUUUUUCE and Marshall Faulk will always be my favorites. |

quite a series - 3-2,2-1,2-1
ending with an extra-inning game, and the ChiSox beating Mo (though it wasn't a save opp, so his streak stays alive)
Unfortunately, they fall to 5.5 games behind BoSox, and Indians overtake them in the wild card race
Luckily for Yanks, BoSox face ChiSox next, with Buerhle and Garland, though at Fenway
Pavano is out for 6 weeks, but Small and Chacon have been doing a damn good job |
