tribu i fully understand your point and i fully agree.
Rather than just saying oohhh i love a track. Give some good reasons why you love that track example being it has wonderful haunting lyrics, awesome bassline, interesting sampling etc.
Basicly show why you like a track rather than just i like a track as someone would say i like BMW cars because everyone else likes them too so they must be good. |

| I don't take it sooo seriously but I get to deal with enough angry customers all day at work. I'd like to be able to come home and just talk about something that I love Music. I really don't care if someone doesn't like what I like I just don't wanna hear about it in every ing thread is all. Gets annoying and repetitive just like threads whos #1 dj get repetitive or best of 2004 etc i'm sure you get the point. |

I'd say that's a nice, big stereotype. Just because it's not on ASOT, doesn't mean it's not uplifting. |

| Radagast don't know don't care. But it seems like at least some people understand were i'm coming from hopefully it'll help some with the TA flaming problem or else were going to be forced to hire a brigade of firemen though on second thought the TA ladies might like that. |

You're not going to be able to stop them from voicing their opinion. You're just going to have to learn to accept it. |

I can say what I like, where I like, and if you dont like it then you can off. I cant believe you are trying to tell people when and where they can voice their opinions. As long as e asot trance tracks are getting talked about then I will say what i think of them. Whatever i say is no less valid than 'omfg its amazing', and if any opinion other than 'omfg its amazing' is offensive to you then off. If youd learn to accept that there is a lot of people who think armin is e then this whole problem goes away. |

i agree abot armin being generic.ive seen him a few times and have many of his sets.his older sets i love from the 1999-2000 era.but his stuff now is just so bland.i means its the same synth sounds, same melodies, same beat patterns.nothing creative or against the grain.
a few tunes explain this point...
enmass - cq
fractal structure - lost sequence
8 wonders - the morning after
active sight - out of our lives
Above & Beyond presents Tranquility Base - Surrender
etc etc tunes he plays in sets and his radio show.
i mean theres nothing extraordinary in these at all.they are just the same synths and melodies over and over again basically.
i blame anjunabeats to be a bigger cause of generic trance coming onto the scene than ASOT as ASOT would release great proggy stuff which i love.however anjunabeats is just the same super8,tranquility base,dj tab and oceanlab crap time and time again.
granted one of my favourite EVER tracks was released on anjunabeats.stephen j kroos - phantazmz/optimistik ep.mind blowing this was.
they are diluting trance IMO
flame away
