Granted JOOF is great..actually, he's mindblowing...but just as people claim ASOT is too mainstream JOOF tries too hard to be too unique. He often plays unheard-of unreleased tracks/promos that will probably never see the light of day.
There's nothing wrong in that but there's nothing good in that either. People expect to hear tracks that they can look forward to buying and including them in their sets as well(if they are dj's) or listening to them at home on their own leisure and not just hear it on the radio and be happy.

ok, so after 19 pages on this topic, anyone want to go get an ice cream?

also, thanks for all the tracks everyone has mentioned. I've made a nice litle list here that I'm going to go check out.

so anyway, ice cream anyone?

what up peeeps. We all do not need to bash on each other, momma always said if u have nothing nice to say then dont say anything at all. cause the truth is that if a negative voice is heard, then there will be a negative reaction, the only acception is if one is humble. and there are a few people but generally, ( mainstream ) as some would say do not accept such negativity. they like to get the final word in, and then we get forums like this one where people convey there message of "my opinion is my opinion", and "ur opinion does not belong here". all in all we enjoy a genre that is abstract and unique to other genres. it is more complexed, therefore it is prboably more harder to push tracks out that sound differant. when ur someone like armin, who is probably bieng pressured by the powers that be, he is most likely going to use the same bassline, and some samples that worked before in oder to make a deadline. i dont know about u but between world touring, a radio show, making new tracks, listining to dozens of demos for his labels. oh and how about a life. but lets not make excuses for these ppl. but then again i am just a bedroom producer so maybe its just harder to me right now. .:sigh:. then again some tunage away from trance is good too, get ur mind off of it for a wee bit that always helps.

I think i'm going to start the TA bashing/flaming alliance we already know Laushananee is a lifetime member anyone else wanna join?

markus is most definitely not mainstream...his show is scheduled for 1 am monday morning...how many ppl. in the US do you think are up at that time, given that EDM is in any case not as popular in the US as hip-hop and r&b...besides, his tunes are amazing and other DJs play them weeks after he's done with them...

Just because her opinion is brutal and she knows more than 99.8% of people on here, does not mean she should be dissed for that. She knows more than almost all of you and she can back it up. I respect her for her knowledge and about that fooking alliance, it has existed since 2001, I started it in 2001 then retired it for a while but it still exists :p

armin's djing is not that good. i mean for a professional dj, i think he s rather poor... skill wise, and having the ear for diverse sound, pvd takes the cake.. but doesnt mean all that diversity is ALWAYS a good thing.. ive seen pvd many times but sometimes his flow is just completely off.. he tries to play too much variation in genres yet the energy level drifts cuz difference in elements in the tracks are too off... to simply put it, flow. when hes on, hes on but when hes not, hes no better than armin.. lol ok maybe in mixing still but thats about it. i stopped going to pvd shows since april of last year.. his djing style jist dont interest me anymore no matter what he plays... he once played 'Running Up That Hill' @ +8.... that was really horrid.

I'll pass around a form for you guys to join your own "I respect the opinions of ohters, but don't want them to post them here because I get offended by it and am too lazy to scroll past their post" Alliance.

We're allowed to say what we want, how we want. Deal with it.
