| I'm a little confused....How has AVB sold out? The man has a passion for what he does. ID&T does not pay him to do his show but yet he continues to do it? His style of uplifting trance has not changed in the past years....so what is it that makes him a sell out? If you've seen the man spin then you know that he loves what he's doing. Should he reject the money they offer him in order to keep it "real." It's just funny to see people get so caught up on someone's image. Even though I may not enjoy AVB as much as I used to I still give him respect. And no I'm not an AVB whore I just rather not focus my energy on something meaninless. There will always be an underground scene and you're mos def not going to find it on this forum. |

I'm not saying reject the money, I'm saying stay true to your roots. Heck Armin himself said that you should be your own deejay and person but what does that say for the henchmen like nickson, o'neil and make the same tripe in the same mold as he does. I had respect for armin, then he made the same tripe over and over and over and I was more angry with him for pigeonholing himself because he has the talent. This argument could go on for ages and really I've said my piece. |

Just because most people vote for them, doesn't mean that people are wrong for not thinking they're the best. It's called personal taste, and people aren't going to conform to the masses just because you want them to. |
