Back to places to stay...I booked the Garbi...I hope the beach is good there, but honestly we're probably renting a car for part of the time we're there to go exploring. Since my wife has never been to Ibiza, I wanted her to be in action. I even offered to stay at a farmhouse somewhere near S.E. but she wanted to be closer to the beach. Anyways, going to Amnesia twice so I'll have to check out that bus. Could be convenient for when my wife predictably crashes way before me! |
Garbi has a nice beach just outside the hotel. Its right next to my place at Bali Beach and only about 100 yards from Bora Bora and its beach. Lots of good stuff happening on that end. |

Jet Apartments, which are one of the four complexes that comprise Jet, are by far the biggest. They're also situated smack dab in the heart of the Playa d'en Bossa strip - beside the Bora Bora beach bar and about a 2 minute walk from Space. Most people stay there.
Bali Beach, which also belongs to the Jet complex, is very close to the Jet Apartments. Its right on the beach, on the PDB strip between Hotel Garbi and Beach Palace (a new beach bar that opened last year). Bali Beach is a bit quieter, pricier, and yet still in the thick of things. I usually stay there since i can sleep without the loud music.
The other two complexes .... Arlanza and Bossa Mar are probably a bit rubbish since no one i know has every used them, nor have i actually seen them.

| Hed Kandi is apparently leaving El Divino and setting up shop on Saturday nights at Space this summer, the spot that Matinee vacated when they moved to Amnesia. Something to do on Saturday nights in PDB. :) |

Isn't Saturdays during the day @ Space, Matinee days? (or was I guess)
They have a really good following, something about membership lines etc. |

Yes, Matinee used to run during Saturday days at Space until Afterhours was stopped last year. This year, Matinee has left Space altogether and moved to Amnesia, which has in turn allowed Hed Kandi to leave its usual spot at El Divino and move into Space on Saturday Nights. I think they had to jump while they could because El Divino is closing down in a year or so. |

per ibiza-spotlight, Hed Kandi was actually booked to be at Eden this year. but Eden bounced the initial 40K pound check payment to Hed Kandi which violated the terms of their contract...so that let Hed Kandi move to Space... |

Yes that includes everything.
There are a few stops.
LAX to Philly
Philly to Madrid
Madrid to Ibiza
Our flight takes off at 8:30am on 9/7 We get to Ibiza at Noon on 9/8 |

That is pretty normal/standard going over the Atlantic...you save the hours on the way back...like only a couple hours if you don't add the time zones you are crossing over. |
