| I'm looking to do Ibiza for the closing parties at the end of Sept, beginning or October. Unfortunately I don't think there is gonna be much trance going on then which sucks :mad: |

Circo Loco goes from 6pm-2am... best time to be there IMO is 8pm-midnight... so you can easily go to that and then go to another big party that same night (Tiesto/SHM/Cocoon/etc.). |

1. It depends. If you get there a day earlier, you can usually find pre-sale tickets/wristbands that are usually cheaper.
I'm lazy (and the cost savings aren't a factor for me, convenience is), so I do pre-sales as much as possible.
2. I don't listen to trance anymore, so I can't help. I thought Amnesia had trance one night, and I know we saw (old) Tiesto at Privilege on a Monday night.
3. Saturday stinks. I'm arriving this year on Saturday, because I'm taking the MXP-IBZ non-stop. I'm planning to drink it up in Ibiza Town.
4. If you like trance, then I'd do
Sunday - Judgment Sundays @Eden.
Monday - Swedish House Mafia@Pacha.
Tuesday - Eric Prydz @Amnesia.
I don't like Pacha as a disco, though (SHM is fun, although).

I didn't like Pacha either. Was just one of those cokey venues living off past reputation. It also felt like three small and quite badly maintained clubs from a few different decades stitched together. and I got in for free. God knows what my opinion would be if I had paid 40euros to get in to that.
SHM at Pacha is my idea of a very crap night indeed.
Is ibiza really still "where it's at for EDM" these days?
I went once in 96 and once in 2005 - both were truly great but very different, and I couldn't help but feel in the later visit that it was somewhat a commercial, noob shadow of it's former self.
I'd love to believe it's the heart of EDM but just don't know anymore? |

my first time was 1996 as well.... it was a bit different then... seeing the live sex show at Manumission was an experience! :eyespop: :D
its not that different to be honest IMO... a bit more bottle service oriented and upscale, but overall its the same clubs with like-minded people going to the parties.... if you had fun before you'll have fun now... |

But, I think there are better choices....
Space you can be there for 12h (not like it used to be, of course), but starting when the sun is up, and coming out when the sun is up is awesome.
Cocoon is really the best big disco party of the week. It really is awesome. |

True, if you're not sure who you're going to see or what your group wants to do...
When you're there a week (or more), then you have all the time in the world to figure out whom to go see.
For me, I know exactly which discos I'm going to each night...and you can't change that :D |

I went in 2009 and saw some crazy as . The Matinee acts were pretty nuts....naked bitches climbing thru cages all over each other, dudes swinging their boners around....it was pretty nuts. Lots of drugs too :D |
