Any west coasters going to Ibiza, Spain this season?... (pg. 44)

Just left Ibiza this morning (now in Barcelona again) for 4 days on the island: another great partying weekend.
I still get the "OMG, you're really here from Los Angeles, so far away" from many people there...it's funny.
Only did three discos (and one smaller bar on Sunday): Matinee on Saturday, Cocoon on Monday and Carl Cox Revolution on Tuesday.
All were great in their own ways: but Cocoon (and Amnesia) is really the best club on the island. I do enjoy Space, but Amnesia seems like a home for me.
Really a magical place. |

Have to admit, I'm jealous. It used to be so easy from London but it does seem like such a trek from LA now.
I have to know - how was Cox? Last time I saw him at Space he was ing amazing, both on the terrace and in the back room. |

Ya, I got that a lot from the Brits "your a ways out"
They say far away somewhat differently. lol

Definitely got a similar reaction last time i went. I'm going to be there from 8/28 - 9/8 or so. (need to still change my flight back to around the 8th instead of the 12th).
Lineups look stellar for the first 5 days:
Sunday: Justice and Digitalism @ Priviledge
Monday: Roger Sanchez and Kaskade @ Space / also, going to DC10
Tuesday: Carl, Digweed, Moby, and Carlo Lio@ Space
Weds: Morillo @ Pacha
THurs: Calvin Harris and Chris Lake @ Amnesia
Fri: TBD
Sat: TBD
Sun: Lawler on the terrace, Simian Mobile DIsco, Laurent Garnier @ Space
Mon: Mark Knight
Tues: TBD
Weds: TBD

Well, my holiday this year is only 17 days, and I broke it up into:
2 Manhattan
2 Venice
3 Florence
4 Ibiza
2 Barcelona
4 Sitges
1 Barcelona
Unfortunately, I did a lot more transit this trip. And, I went Milan to Ibiza on Lufthansa. I got a €30 one-way ticket, but it was another €30 to take the bullet train from Florence to Milan. So, it was very cheap, but it basically took 7h to get from Florence to Ibiza.
So, I was already planning to be in Europe, so I just tacked on the Ibiza part where it made sense.
It is far though. I'm coming back to Sitges in October: I leave in the morning on a Wednesday, and I don't arrive to Europe until the next afternoon. I do envy my East-Coast friends sometimes...

I did not see him on the Terrace: I don't think he played it for the opening party (not sure, I didn't get there until midnight). He's really fun: he knows how to run a party and make everyone have a good time. For some DJs, that's perfectly acceptable! (he did play older songs: I could recognize, but not trainspot some) |

Just FYI, I stayed in a flat in Figueretas this year. It was €120/night. Place was fine, but bed was very small (a double?) so might not be the best for sharing. I slept on the couch one night instead.
It had a in-house washer, and the shower used filtered water (and a/c of course).
Really easy to get anywhere needed.
I can send you details of the place we used if you want it. It was cash only, though. |

i forgot that one it was gonna be either SHM or Morillo/Kaskade. Pacha i know is a must but wouldnt mind an easier day ...i wanna be fresh for sasha the next day
