CA/VU are like JetBlue.
Air Europa is decent.
I flew Spanair, as I have *A status.
It depends if you're going to check a bag or not. I had no problems getting my back at the IBZ terminal in less than 10 minutes.
On other thing: I checked my bag, so I brought all my suntan lotion with me (bought it at Target for $6 for a huge container); if you don't check your bag, you'll have to buy suntan lotion there (at 9€+ a bottle), or put it in little 3oz containers).
In BCN, the new Terminal 1 is for the Star Alliance carriers (Spanair), the others are in the other terminal. So, see if you need to connect that day or not, that might make a difference. |

It worked out fine. In IBZ (not other places), I think I met only 3 people from the states. The majority of the people were either from United Kingdom or Germany.
People did think we were crazy for flying all the way from the west coast to go to Ibiza...they don't realize why we go! |

It really depends. I had some ideas before going, and most of them went out of the window when we got there :)
(I'm assuming you're only going to the good nights at the good clubs): Pre-sale tickets ranged from 35-45€ depending on the club and the night. Pacha was the most at 45€. There are some better deals around too the day before (like, we got wristbands for free entry to Amnesia on a Tuesday night, by getting a wristband on Monday night. We never went, though). We had some guest-list hookups too, which probably saved us 100€.
If you're going to drink, I would pre-party in your room (buying at the markets), or San An (if you're staying there), and try and sneak some more in.
If you're not going to drink, every 150cl bottle of water is 8€. And you will need it. Just like Coachella, my biggest expense was water.
You should be able to have fun sober too...
Remember to get bottled water for your hotel. The tap water on the island is undrinkable (even for your showers/brushing your teeth). |

| We stayed in Playa d'en Bossa, and that was the best decision. Right on the beach, walking distance to Space, easy access to the markets. The food wasn't that good, but we found one good place next to our apartments. |

I was there for 8 days. I think 10 would had been perfect, but I have to see other places too.
Off to Cavo Paradiso in Mykonos tonight. |

My friend got them off of spotlight for a pre-pre-sale. I think they're 45€ now. |

I just read some horrific reviews about Air Europa and Spainair.
I'd be pissed if I got delayed several hours.
The Vueling/CA flights are all at god-awful early morning hours
or later in the day. what's with that?
Air Europa has the best flight times.

| When we started planing our nights I always saw Tiesto for that much.. getting them at 30 would be nice... where can or did you find that? |

aww you saw 4 of the nights i saw there last year, tuesday for cox, friday for sander k at pacha, lawler on sunday and sven vath on monday at amnesia for cocoon(best night i was there!)
i was there for 9 days, was a really great time! and lucky you, greece, i wanna go there so bad!!!! please give a review |

Just got back a couple weeks ago - here's a short summary. Stayed in Santa Eularia at a beautiful hotel. Loved it, of course it was far from the clubs, but we got a car.
Sat night - watched sunset at Cafe Del Mar - Amazing :)
Sun - Space (of course). Got there around 9 which was too late because the DJ was already tearing it up of the terrace. I think that was 2manyDJS, then another DJ came on who was awesome! don't know who it was though. Spent alot of time upstairs on the chillout terrace I wasn't feeling the main room. Should have gone earlier.
Monday Cocoon - This was by far the best night. I love Sven but he was a little disappointing that night, Loco Dice however was ripping it up on the Terrace! The crowd was going insane until 7am when he had to stop. OMG.. amazing night.
Wed - Morillo. I really like Morillo and his compilations, but I wasn't really feeling the music this year. Some good effects though. Maybe I'm getting old but I'm beginning to think Pacha is too loud. We stayed til the end and there was almost no one left.
Thurs - Cream, PVD is amazing of course, again not much of a crowd at the end of the night. Paul didn't look happy.
Friday flew to Paris to do some shopping.. big mistake, should have stayed in Ibiza. Spain is so much better. Went to Unighted in Stade du France. Saw Sven Vath, and Armin play. Both were amazing really good sets but they got cut off early. it was supposed to end at 6 and ended at 5 instead and I swear the music was only half as loud. Unighted was SOOO much better last year. They ruined it.. I'm never going again.
Probably going back for Space closing Oct 4. |

sounds like its not as busy in Ibiza as its been in the past (been hearing that from other people as well). |
