did you already get tix for Sensation? i know it always sells out the day tickets are announced.... been wanting to go to that for a few years.... thought about doing the ones in Prague or London this year as an alternative... |

sensation amsterdam is officially sold out already. sucks to say that its no where near the event it used to be musically. used to be all trance and now its complete garbage lineups and cheese house/trance. still deciding if i wanna check it out one day now because of the fact its not how it was, but just to experience the overall production of the event ID&T puts into it. |

yeah it sold out the day tix went on sale... though you can buy hotel packages that include a ticket... those are still available.
for me i want to go for the production values and it just looks like a fun party to check out! |

i might skip Vegas for MDW.... looking to go somewhere else for a change... but if nothing else pans out i'd most likely end up there late sunday night... |

Yes, I witnessed this firsthand in 2006. The previous year, Armin headlined, and as mentioned, the event sells out in a day with no lineup released then. So I waited and waited with ticket in hand, then they announced the all House lineup except for Ferry Corsten and Sander K (SK us mostly House too). So yeah, a sea of people in white, but was a night of suffering through the music except for Ferry.
Then a week or so later, I went to Love Parade (RIP) in Berlin which made up for everything! As for the ID&T events (Sensation White, Energy, Mystery Land, etc.), I predict they will all turn to House. They are bent on it, this is the station that kicked Armin off the air right before he went to #1 three years in a row! Ibiza has much better lineups with the best Trance & Prigressive artists, so that's where my hard earned money will take me this year! :D |

If you bought tickets in the past and had an account, you received an email two weeks in advance and were able to buy up to 4 tickets before they officially went on sale.. :-)
You're right, I've been to more than 10 Sensations now (mainly Amsterdam, but also Germany, Prague, Zurich). The music is not the same anymore, but it's still an experience. And Amsterdam is still my favorite.. :-) |

youre 100% right. its an absolute travesty what ID&T are doing to their events and i have no doubt itll all become house sooner or later. Im glad i experience one of the last true TE years in 2008. couldnt make 2009 unfortunately but im glad to have experience the trance mecca of the world before it was ruined by "Energy" this year.
ibiza is absolutely where it is at these days for really any type of EDM music, but certainly trance. its a shame there is now no longer and true trance festival left, except for the parties luminosity is throwing with the beach parties and pre parties for bigger events, but meaning more so in regards to what ID&T has done.
as much as i want to experience what a sensation white in amsterdam is like, im having a very hard time justifying thousands of dollars for a european summer trip, only to be disappointed by a mainstream DJ lineup. |

Got my ticket to Sensation in Amsterdam this year, the music might not be all that but I love the city and should be a great experience.
I'm going to Ibiza for the first time this summer, will get there on July 16th and leave in the morning on July 20th. I've been reading up on it a lot and checking out all the line ups, but still would appreciate some help from those that have been there.
1. Should I buy presale tickets or can I find them for cheap there as well?
2. Besides Cream on Thursdays and Be on Wednesdays, where else can I hear some trance? Are Judgment Sundays good, or Eden as a whole?
3. I get there on a Saturday but besides Defected there don't seem to be much on the island, any recommendations for Saturday night activities?

Monday - Swedish House Mafia@Pacha.
Tuesday - Carl Cox @Space.
Option 2:
Sunday - We Love Space @Space.
Monday - Swedish House Mafia @Pacha.

Who usually spins @Circoloco? And when do after parties start on the island, how do I find em?
I was thinking Cocoon but decided against it, and really wanna see Prydz since I've never seen him before but Cox sounds too good, so can't decide. Also wanna hear some trance while I'm there, but nothing besides Judgment which I heard mixed reviews about.
