I went to Space, Pacha, Privilege and Amnesia when I was there...didn't even go to DC-10 and that year Boro Bora was shut down...

DC-10 is the one where there is a video of Puff Daddy "P Diddy" buying e? lol

i've spent over 2 weeks exploring both baleric islands, been to every corner of ibiza and hit every club that mattered. if dc10 is closed, there is no point in spending the money. it is the best club with the best party, bar none. without it, you get an incomplete experience. for several thousand dollars, what's the point?

Great rate! One way? What airline?

To answer this for everyone, I got it on American.
At first I searched Orbitz and it was saying $5xx (close to 600) plus like 300 in taxes, which I thought was weird (I know British Airways has insane taxes, but haven't seen this kind of surcharges on all airlines)...Went over to aa.com and there is was, flights in September round trip to Madrid for about 600 plus tax, and could do it going to Madrid, returning from Barcelona. (rt to Barca was more expensive).

The only sales I had seen prior to this were only good through May...

Also keep checking everyday, because as you know in the industry, prices fluctuate every several hours - some times in the day/days of the week are better for finding cheaper flights.

People tend to have their favorite clubs or parties in Ibiza. Its still a great place to go without DC10 or afterhours.

Ibiza has been going off long before DC10. It will continue to be amazing without it

Been to Ibiza 3 times back to back and have never ever been to DC10... Ibiza can be very addicting when you go once and you come back home you just cant wait to go back. The problem is its very very expensive unless u are a druggie which I am not. Alcohol is very expensive but all of that said it is the best place on earth that I have ever visited. I like the commercial spots like Pacha everyone has their own style many people on here like Space which I do too but regardless of what music u like there is always a place for you. Some advice that I have is to take your own alcohol to the island and stay away from San antonio, I prefer playa den bossa its very central. I would check out the following 100 percent when there..

Cafe Mambo- The best sunset ever
Salinas beach- Very nice beach
Formentera- Small island 45 min away with a boat DO NOT MISS THIS
Bora Bora- Beach club lots of fun
Pacha Ibiza- I don't wanna rub my taste on anyone but you have to go just once
Space- love this place

Take lots of vitamins and drink lots and lots of water 24/7

Best time to go from my experience is beginning to mid September DO NOT GO IN AUGUST!! Its too busy and that ruins your experience!!

If anyone has any questions you can PM me I am sure I can help!!

Be safe and have fun!!

Its a good idea to have about two weeks in order to get the best out of the Island. I've met more than a few people, who after arriving in Ibiza on their first trip, quickly realized that its not really all about the clubs, but moreso about the combined experience of amazing people, clubs, great beaches, unscheduled parties, exploring the Island, taking a day trip to Formentera etc. Its the random experiences that often define the magic of the visit.

One thing that Ibiza thankfully lacks, is the pervasive DJ worship thats common in most big cities in the US. Visitors generally give more respect to the club night (Cocoon, We Love, Cream, etc) than the DJ who happens to be playing on a given night. This is something that i find refreshing about the atmosphere there because it places music over celebrity, and ultimately makes for better club nights.
