Agreed. Remember when they "sell out" presales online there's still plenty of tix to be found on the island beforehand and at the door. I do recommend buying presales from a ticket broker the day of rather than paying door prices. At Pacha last summer it was usually 45€ in advance but 60€ at the door for most nights (SHM, Morillo, Pure Pacha, Cadenza etc). That being said if you have girls you can negotiate at the door some nights (Morillo & Pure pacha probably, not likely at Cadenza or SHM). My girl and i got into Pacha last year for 60€ for both of us on friday, but they wouldn't give us the same deal on a sunday.
All that being said I'll be on Ibiza from May 30th until July 16th or so! PM me if you're coming =). I get in just in time for the Circoloco opening ;-)
And I'll also throw in my recommendation for Playa d'en Bossa. Ibiza Town is all right but PdB is the best. And do NOT stay in San Antonio! |

Has anyone ever stayed at the Fiesta Playa D'en Bossa? I stayed at the Garbi last year for 9 nights which was amazing and had killer food (as well).
I'm going to be there 8/31 - 9/12. |

ahhh, the memories!
I had more fun at the cafes/bars with the music than we did when we went to the big clubs. we went out everyday we were there last year, we went to Amnesia twice, Eden and Privilege and some place called Underground where the locals go and its only open 2 nights from what I heard. we had fun at Mambo, hush and Underground more than the other places. even getting in for free to the big clubs didnt make it more fun. dunno, guess we're over the big places and more into finding fun elsewhere. I will say, if we would have gone to Space, that would have been fun too. Carl IS Space. simply awesome! |

I stayed at the Hotel Don Toni last year which is also run by Fiesta, but my friend who has been many years says the Don Toni is the best of the bunch (Hotel Don Toni, Hotel Playa D'en Bossa, Club Playa D'en Bossa). I believe the other two have crappy pools playing the worst music all day, wheras the Don Toni is quieter. You can't really go wrong with any of them though, good a/c, clean/safe, and though they're not the nicest hotels ever, they're a great value! The half-board buffet isn't bad, we ate there almost every night and the food was good enough for us, but i strongly recommend you do NOT get all-inclusive. Not worth it at all. Unfortunately breakfast starts at 8am and the clubs close at 7 so we didn't make breakfast much ;-) |

The best way to do Ibiza is the one party, one restaurant, one beach approach.
Everyday, explore a different beach (there are dozens of good ones if you have a car), a different place to eat - and by this I mean proper out of the way chiringuitos, tapas, or any other restaurant thats away from the touristy areas, and finally a different party, which can be anything from a bar to a full on club night. Try a different one of these three every day and you'll have an even better time. |

The wife and I will likely be there for Sept 5 party which is a Sven all nighter, but that closing party looks awesome. Curious to see Maetrik live and Loco Dice is a beast ! He's my wife's new favorite DJ after this past Miami trip. |

8/30 - 9/12
Flights looked like about $1500 r/t from SFO - IBZ - we were lucky enough to be able to use points this year...finally!
Don't know hotel, using other type of points to offset the cost...but looking at either the Garbi half board (amazing food, beautiful, environment, excellent location...stayed last year) or maybe trying the Fiesta Playa D'en Bossa this year to save a bunch ...but will probably go with Garbi again b/c it's sweet. |

Haven't booked my room: Was trying to do it pre-May 1, but ran out of time. Going to do it this week.
I'm flying over on miles again. I do need to book a positioning ticket to JFK soon, but that's not a problem. |
